Building a Dog House

Make it Quick and Easy with Plans

When building a house for your friend first think about the size of your pet.Your dog should be able to get in, turn around and lie down. Do not go too big or too small.

For the safety of your pet, only buy untreated, nontoxic materials that could not hurt him if he is a chewer.

Dog house plans are available in a wide range of styles to fit your dog, your backyard and your own taste. It can be done for less that 70$ with lumber you cut yourself.

Probably the simplest question to ask is not whether you have a lot of previous carpentry experience because building decks isn't that hard.

If you asked around for some quotes, you know that having your deck built by a contractor is costly and you may not want to spend that kind of money.

If you are the kind of person who is determined when starting a project to get it done, because honestly it may not be such an easy woodworking project compair to chair or a dog house, than you can do you deck in a methodic, organised way.

I like working with wood to make things like shelves for my wife. I use my pancake air compressor, nailer, air brush and other air tools to make the job go quicker.

I so much admire people who can build with wood. It's a skill I hope to learn a little more about and would make life so much easier if I didn't have to hire someone everytime I needed something built.
