Easy Simple Appetizer Ideas

I love these mini taco appetizers! They are great for all ages, especially the younger children with small hands. Even if they drop them, it's a easy clean! Just brown, add seasoning and drain the meat, have the sides ready and they're done. Doesn't get much easier than that! AND if these are too small for your party theme or idea, maybe you have more grown ups, try the shells below!

It's common at any kind of party to have appetizers and beverages, while guests begin showing up before the party begins. Sometimes traditional party appetizers could be as simple as ice cold beer and chips with dip. Other appetizers can be be outrageously fancy with imported cheeses that are served with Champagne or mixed drinks. Other people just decide on pizza or submarine sandwiches served with great coffee or pop.

Here you will find easy to make simple appetizer ideas. Some of these appetizer recipes are proven favorites but won't take all day.

These mini tacos are easy and simple! Buy the bag of chips with the bite sized shells, brown your hamburger (make sure you drain it) and have the rest of the toppings ready. You can make this mini taco any way you want to! Hamburger, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce and cheeses, throw it in the shell, done! Leave your sauces on the table so your guests can choose their favorite! To make it even easier, put all the ingredients in containers and let your guests make their own to suit themselves. Can't get any easier or faster for you!

Not So Sloppy Joe Recipe

Easy Sloppy Joe

This recipe is for "not so sloppy" Sloppy Joe

Prep: 5 min.
Cook: 45 min.

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef, season to taste (that means the way you like it)
1 large onion, chopped
1 package of Hot Dog buns
8 slices processed American cheese
Pickles, on the side if you like them

Directions
In a large skillet, cook beef with onion over medium heat
cook until the meat is no longer pink and make sure you drain it

Stir in your sloppy joe mix and cook according to directions
Cover and simmer until heated through

For small children cut the hot dog buns into halves or thirds for bite size
Fill with sloppy joe mixture, layer cheese on top to melt and SERVE!
You can serve pickles or chips on the side

Okay! So was that fast enough? Simple enough? You will have less mess than hamburger buns because the meat won't fall out so easy.
