Simple Tags Plug In For WordPress

If you blog, you want traffic. Sure, social media and your groups of friends can provide you with a certain amount of traffic, but there is a ceiling to the amount of traffic you have available by using just Web 2.0 to promote what it is you're cooking. If you really want to blow th roof off of your blog, you need search engine optimization (SEO) to work hand in hand with your social campaign.

WordPress blogers have several plug ins available to them to help with their SEO campaigns. My two favorite are All In One SEO Pack and this one, Simple Tags.

Simple Tags can be a tremendous tool for a variety of reasons:
Construct keywords for your post if you're not using All In One SEO Pack as well (shame on you if you aren't using All In One).

Provides easy navigation references for your readers. This gives them a chance to quickly access related posts in your archives, thus decreasing your "bounce rate", which in turn increases your authority with the search engines.

Demonstrates relevancy throughout your blog. The spiders will crawl and see how related the posts are to each other, thus allowing you more authority and placing your site in higher standings.

Helps you (the blogger) maintain a focus on your niche. Having access to editing tags for your previous 50 posts allows you to hone your tagging to meet your purpose.

Once you have the SEO down, you may want to check out one of the cool magazine theme, such as the Tribune magazine theme, and have a rockin' blog.

This song has been covered many times through the ages, yet this version has always struck me as being very good in it's expression of the theme, if not very different.
