Simple Face Painting Designs

Have you ever been to any kind of kids party or town fair, you will most likely see a large line of kids waiting to get their face painted. After my last time sitting in the warm summer sun waiting so my son could get his face painted like all the other kids, I saw how much all the kids loved it. I wanted to be able to give that kind of joy at my sons next birthday party.

Not knowing anything about face painting or knowing where to get face painting designs, I headed to the internet to find out how. I just wanted to learn simple face painting designs so I could paint the faces of the kids at the next birthday party. I found a lot of information on so many different designs, clown faces, cheetah face painting, and even just face painting cheek art. Most of this information about face painting was good but I wanted something all in one. How to do face painting and what to use to make my face painting designs.

Well after what felt like hours searching I came across a great book, not only that but it was one that I was able to download (ebook). Perfect I could get it and start reading it right away. Wow, I found just what I was looking for, simple face painting designs and how to do them, plus what kind of products I needed to get started right away.

I ran out to my local crafts store and got my supplies, had my son and a few of his friends around so I could try out what I had learned from the book. Ok I will admit the first one didn't look like as much like a tiger that I wanted it to but my son loved it. And now the other kids were fighting to get in line next. This really made my day. By the time I finished face painting the third kid I had it down, at least I think so.

When my sons party came around I had this whole face painting thing down pat. I had some many different ideas for face painting and couldn't wait to get started. Once I sat down to paint the first face I didn't get up until I saw that the adults were now in line to get it done. They saw how much fun the kids were having and wanted in on the fun.

This was the best investment of my time ever. I had so much fun that day and the kids were all running up and thanking me all day long. I even had a few parents ask me to bring the supplies over for their kids party. With all the children's parties on my block I could even make this into a part time job.
