About Simple Spaces Owner
Hello! My name is Laura. I am the owner of a new e-commerce business called Simple Spaces. I am a wife and amother of two beautiful children Noah & Rylee-Grace. There is nothing better than being a mom to these precious children. They're mine and my husbands pride & joy. Ultimatley they're the reason behind the creation of this store. Like most young people, when my husband & I met in my early years of college we lived off of take-out & pre-packaged food. I owned a stove but the microwave came in handy more often. And then we had children. In college you hear saturated fat will kill you, avoid take-out, eat you vegtables, your going to get sick. I didn't care. Easy & fast was the name of the game. From the day my oldest Noah was born I started thinking about nutrition. I packed my fridge with vegtables & fruit, my pantry with pastas & beans, my freezer with lean healthy meats. Unfortunatly, I had no clue what to do with them. It took me awhile, alot of frustrating evenings & burnt dinners until I got the hang of it. My refusal to feed my children take-out and processed meals on a regular basis steered my determination. It took me awhile to discover the wonders of appliances and even cookbooks. And thats why I wanted to develop this website. I wanted to speak with amatures and professionals, young and old, parents and young people...to teach them how EASY cooking can be with the right tools. I hope to provide a site where parents, aspiring cooks, professionals, teens or anyone looking to cook can come together and learn to love cooking.
