Which is better double doors or a sliding door? Each are both good, though a sliding door will take a few inches away from your inside space of the shed. Just remember to make it wide enough for any equipment you want to put in there.

Do you want a ramp? Ramps are convenient for lawn mowers and other equipment on wheels. I have had muscled my lawn mower into my previous shed that had no ramp and that is not fun! It is also a convenient way to move heavy objects in your shed using a hand cart.

It won't help you at all to build a backyard shed if you can't understand the plans. Make sure you find plans that don't leave you scratching your head and say "huh?"
