Dr Christine Cheng is a graduate of the University of Wales College of Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. A Consultant Anaesthetist in Private Practice, her interest in Aesthetic Medicine was founded through her own quest for weight loss, and regular management of Plastic Surgery cases.

She has trained with various International experts in non-surgical aesthetic treatments, and the services at Simply Aesthetic are the culmination of her research into the most effective treatments currently available.

With jaw slimming, botox relaxed my muscles and two subsequent mesotherapy sessions melted my chubby cheeks. The effects were dramatic! I am also naturally bottom heavy and no amount of self effort (exercise or diet) seemed to remove the stubborn fat. Four sessions of mesotherapy slimmed down my buttocks, each session saw immediate results over a span of two weeks. Ice packs were used throughout the treatment to numb the targeted area, and readily available analgesics can be administered when a stronger cocktail of mesotherapy proves too painful.

Unfortunately we are all in the same boat. Unless that is, you are one of those rare genetic freaks who have been blessed with physical perfection that we occasionally see and always despise. Almost all of us have been cursed with pockets of 'indelible' fat that we cannot remove despite the strictest, most obsessive compulsive dieting and exercise regime. About five years ago I accepted a cold hard truth - my 'stubborn love handle fat' needed to be removed professionally.

At the time liposuction was the only option available, so I tried it. It was effective, extremely expensive, imprecise, painful and included a very long recovery period wearing an uncomfortable compression garment 24/7. Now there is lipodissolve, so I tried it. It was effective, cost-effective, precise, almost pain free, with absolutely no downtime at all.

When it comes to comparing liposuction to lipodissolve, I can speak from personal experience - there is no comparison. I found liposuction to be brutal, resulting in horrific bruising and pain, leaving an uneven and lumpy finish.

I am very happy with the results from the treatment for cellulite to my problem areas (butt and thighs) that I received at Simply Aesthetic, which consisted of the Lipodrain, Liposound and Starvac treatments for each session. The staff at the clinic are professional, helpful and gentle, and made me feel very reassured. The Lipodrain and Starvac treatments were quite comfortable and relaxing. I found the Lipodrain machine helped to improve my overall blood circulation and even relieved the eczema on my legs! The Starvac machine provided a nice massage to end each session of treatment, and I felt "detoxified" after the treatment.

The ultrasound treatment (Liposound) taking up 20 min of each session was very targeted at the problem areas. Although you have to bear with the high-pitched "internal" sound of ultrasound treatments and a slightly uncomfortable/itchy sensation on the skin at the problem areas during the said 20 mins, this is, in my opinion, a really effective treatment for breaking down cellulite. After 3 sessions, I could see that the cellulite at my problem areas was less dense. The many small uneven lumps have been reduced. The skin at those areas also appeared smoother and firmer. Upon the completion of my treatment, there is marked improvement to my cellulite condition. I also noticed some loss of fat and a general firmer, tighter appearance at my butt and thigh areas!
