This episode of The Simpsons titled 'Trash Of The Titans' from Season 9, Episode 22, is the one where Homer starts an unprovoked fight with Ray Patterson for the title for Sanitation Commissioner. There are some great moments throughout this episode, particularly the parts where Homer taunts and humiliates the current Sanitation Commissioner Ray Patterson...

Other great memorable moments from this show include the parody song "the garbage man", Homer interrupting a U2 concert, Homer jumping over to Moes after the whole town is forced to move, and of course the phrase "can't somebody else do it"....

This episode titled "Homers Enemy" (Season 8, Episode 23) is the one where Homer meets a hard working, conservative new employee named Frank Grimes. It episode is great for displaying Homer's ignorance and complete stupidity, as he attempts to befriend the new employee but ends up frustrating him into madness.

There are great parts throughout this episode with some of the best parts including Homer almost drinking acid, then blaming Grimes, Homer entering and winning the Kids nuclear power plant display competition and Homer falling asleep during Frank Grimes funeral....

With so many fantastic being made over the years picking a episode to place in the number one spot is always going to be a debatable topic. The reason for choosing this episode titled Cape Feare (Season 5, Episode 2) was because it features a long running rivalry between Bart and Side Show Bob, parody a favorite film of mine, and displays Homer at his funniest.

Although this episode contains plenty of funny moment Some of my favorites include Homer forgetting his new alias name when talking to the FBI agents, Homer laughing over Side Show Bob at the cinema, Homer accidentally scaring Bart on the house boat and Bart tricking Side Show Bob in the final
