The Simpsons franchise celebrated its 20th anniversary, as it has been on the air since April 1987, beginning with shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show.

S18E01 The Mook, the Chef, the Wife and Her Homer

Lisa becomes friends with Fat Tony's son Michael. The Simpsons are invited over for dinner, where Fat Tony is shot. When Michael declines to be the new kingpin, Homer becomes Springfield's new mob boss.

S18E02 Jazzy and the Pussycats

Bart gets a drum kit to work out his aggression and becomes a natural. Meanwhile, Lisa adopts animals to combat depression--one of which is a tiger that attacks Bart's drumming arm.

S18E03 Please Homer, Don't Hammer 'Em...

After buying Homer a collection of handyman's books, Marge becomes a handywoman. Meanwhile, Bart finds out that Principal Skinner has a peanut allergy and uses a peanut on a stick to torture Skinner, but the joke is on Bart when Skinner discovers that Bart is allergic to shrimp.

S18E06 Moe'N'a Lisa

Lisa discovers that Moe's written rantings are perfect fodder for poetry, but when Moe is invited to a writer's convention that throws out anyone who uses someone else to create their works, Moe ends up taking the credit.

S18E07 Ice Cream of Margie (with the Light Blue Hair)

After Homer gets fired once again at the nuclear power plant, he takes over the ice cream truck business, while a depressed Marge creates popsicle stick sculptures to keep busy.

S18E08 The Haw-Hawed Couple

Bart becomes Nelson's best friend, and discovers how possessive Nelson can be. Meanwhile, Homer finds himself hooked on one of Lisa's fantasy books and is conflicted in telling Lisa the truth when one of the endings turn out to be unhappy.

S18E09 Kill Gil: Vols. 1 & 2

Gil gets fired as a mall Santa after accidentally giving away a Malibu Stacy doll reserved for his boss's daughter and becomes the Simpsons' latest houseguest, but Marge feels that Gil is overstaying his welcome and tries to gain the courage to throw him out.

S18E10 The Wife Aquatic

After being reminded of memorable childhood vacations spent at Barnacle Bay, Marge returns to the island only to discover that it is rundown and the bay is depleted of fish.

Homer's misguided revenge on the Rich Texan combined with an untimely car break down leaves the Simpsons telling tales of revenge gone wrong.

Bart is given a driver's license which he uses to drive to the next town after being used as the town's chauffeur. Meanwhile, Lisa lies about her heritage in an essay.

Desmond Declan (from 'Scuse Me While I Miss the Sky) returns as he shows a documentary about Springfield's current adult population as children, discussing their future aspirations and meets up with Homer to see if he followed his dreams.

S18E14 Yokel Chords

When Lisa protests denying education to Cletus' kids, Principal Skinner offers her a chance to tutor the kids herself. When Krusty spots the kids during their field trip, he decides to use them as a musical act for his show. Meanwhile, Bart ends up in therapy after scaring his peers with stories of a school chef who was notorious for cooking children.

S18E15 Rome-old and Juli-eh

In an unexpected turn of events, Grampa and Selma fall in love and move in together, and Homer and Patty plot to break up their love connection. Meanwhile, Bart and Lisa con a delivery man into giving them the most sought-after commodity in the neighborhood - cardboard boxes - so they can build a fort.

After the family photo album is destroyed, Marge decides to restage all of the family's photographs, and when a celebrity dating scandal is captured in the background of one of their photos, the Simpsons strike tabloid gold. Tasting success and seeing money to be made, Homer takes to the streets as one of the paparazzi.

S18E17 Marge Gamer

While exploring the world of "Earthland Realms," Marge discovers that Bart is the game's best and most destructive player. Meanwhile, Homer starts refereeing Lisa's soccer games.

S18E18 The Boys of Bummer

Bart becomes a hometown hero when he makes the game-winning catch at his Little League game, sending the Springfield Isotots to the Little League championship for the first time ever. However, Springfield turns on him when he drops an easy pop fly in the bottom of the ninth, losing the game for his team.

S18E19 Crook and Ladder

Maggie goes on a path of destruction in the Simpsons home after Marge follows advice in a parenting magazine and throws away her pacifier. Meanwhile, Homer and some of his fellow Springfieldians become volunteer firefighters.

S18E20 Stop, or My Dog Will Shoot!

After Homer gets lost in a cornfield maze, Santa's Little Helper rescues him and becomes a local hero, prompting the Simpsons to enroll him in Police Dog Academy. Meanwhile, Bart gets a snake as a new pet.

S18E21 24 Minutes

With the help of Jack Bauer and Chloe O'Brian, Bart and Lisa must stop bullies Dolph, Jimbo and Kearney from releasing the ultimate stink bomb (a rotten yogurt cup from the Springfield Nuclear Plant) at Springfield Elementary's annual bake sale.

S18E22 You Kent Always Say What You Want

Homer purchases the 1-millionth ice cream cone at an ice cream store and is featured on Kent Brockman's nightly news program. However, the innocent interview turns into trouble when Brockman shrieks a shocking expletive after getting coffee in his crotch and gets fired for supposedly being under the influence of drugs when he uttered the horrible word.

S19E01

Homer gets to fly in Mr. Burns's private jet and likes it so much that he decides to never fly the old way again. Homer decides to find a job that involves flying in a corporate jet, and hires a life coach to assist him.

The Homer of Seville

S19E02

Homer goes to the hospital, where he develops the ability to sing in an operatic voice whenever he is lying on his back. Mr. Burns overhears Homer and immediately hires him to sing the lead in his production of La bohème. Homer wows the crowd at the Springfield Opera House. Homer becomes an enormous celebrity, especially with the ladies and while running from a mob of crazed fans, Homer is saved by a mysterious woman named Julia, who has questionable intentions.

Midnight Towboy

S19E03

Homer ends up having his car towed by a tow truck driver named Louie who introduces Homer to the joy of towing cars for a living. Meanwhile, Marge begins to feel that Maggie is getting too clingy and hires a counselor. The method works a little too well, leaving Maggie with no need for Marge at all.

I Don't Wanna Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

Marge is caught in the middle of a bank robbery, but manages to convince Dwight, the assailant, that she will visit him in prison should he turn himself in. He does so, but Marge, too frightened to go to prison, doesn't fulfill her promise and Dwight breaks out and comes looking for her.

S19E05

Season 19's edition of the annual trio of Halloween stories.

* "Mr. and Mrs. Simpson" - Homer secretly lives a double life as a secret agent and is assigned to eliminate Kent Brockman, discovering that Marge is also an agent with the same mission.
* "E.T. Go Home" - Bart and Lisa find Kodos, who is hiding from the government, and help him obtain devices that he can use to contact his home planet, but Kodos's intentions prove to be less than friendly.
* "Heck House" - Bart, Lisa and some other kids pull pranks on Halloween night and, after they go too far, Ned Flanders turns the church into a Hell house. Gaining supernatural powers from God, he subjects the kids to his wrath

A new comic book store, "Coolsville Comics & Toys" opens up directly across the street from Comic Book Guy's store. Meanwhile, Marge opens her own women-only workout center.

S19E07

Sideshow Bob tries to kill the Simpson family, but is caught and put on trial.
