- Personally, I think Gamespot is a highly respectable place for reviews, cheat codes, and news on games. If you would like a well written and intelligent review on The Sims 2, look no further than this link.
- Legacy Challenge
- This is a great site. It has a challenge made by a simmer who is very active in the Sims 2 community. For the most part everyone loves it, and is a great way to make simming even more fun! I hope that you like this challenge as much as I do.
- Mod The Sims 2
- This is a link with many user made mods for The Sims 2. BE CAREFUL! Any user made mod is content that will hack your game, and can seriously mess it up if you are not careful! Make sure you are aware of what you could do when doing this. It also very possible that nothing will happen, but you never know.
- Sims 2 Guide
- This is a great free guide for The Sims 2. It does not have any information on the expansions though, but other than that it is a great website.
- Parsimonious
- This is a great site that has lots and lots of free downloads for The Sims and The Sims 2. You need to click on the icons on the top of the site to reach the items. They are very creative. Follow the directions that it shows on the item to make sure the download works.

- A great site with many downloads to customize your game with items for both The Sims 1 and 2.
- Open For Business Review
- A Gamespot review for the latest expansion of The Sims 2. It is called open for Business and gets a very good review from Gamespot. I really love this latest expansion and is one of the better expansions for Sims 1 OR 2. I think Gamespot gives it a very good and detailed review.
- Sims 2 Hints and Cheats
- This is a site that lists many of the cheats for the Sims 2. There are literally hundreds of cheats for the Sims 2, so, and considering most of them are horribly useless, they put the good ones. Great site for all you cheaters out there!

The Sims 2 (Prima Official Game Guide)
This is the official Prima Guide on the original Sims 2. It's a great guide, although Prima Guides are slightly prone to typos and errors, they are definitely the best.

The Sims 2: University (Prima's Official Strategy Guide)
This is the official Prima Guide on the first expansion, University. The guide comes with a copy of the original guide, so if you do not already own the first guide, just buy this one since it comes with both.

Here is the Prima Guide on the second expansion, Nightlife. This one has a lot less errors then the other two, and has more information on its respective expansion then the University one does for its.

Sims 2 Review
First of all, if you are even interested in The Sims 2, make sure you have lots of time to play it. It is a very addicting game that will takes large amounts of time to play. The game is great, and the expansions make it one the best games out there. If you do have time, I don't see a better way to use it. If you own the game but don't have the expansions, get your butt off the chair and go buy them! The expansions come out quite quickly, about one every couple of months, but they still manage to pump out new and fresh ones every time. You will encounter some bugs in the game and expansions, but EA has patches out to get rid of them. One of the greatest things about this game is the fact that you can get more user made content online then you could ever buy, and it's almost all free! Worth the money 10 times over, this game is definitely one of the best! Sims 2 and Expansions

My personal favorite out of all the expansions. It introduces vampires, cars, and some fantastic nightlife parties.

The Sims 2: Open for Business Expansion Pack
In my opinion, the hardest expansion. If you are looking for a more challenging aspect, get Open for Business and make a family business. However, if you do not want a business, there is not much else in this expansion to make it worth a purchase.

An absolutely fabulous expansion. Introduces seasons, weather, gardening, as well as many other fun features.
