I'm in Love With British Singer Adele
Don't tell anybody, but I think I have fallen in love with British singer Adele. When I say fallen in love, I mean figuratively and from afar of course.
I had heard one of her songs some time ago: Chasing Pavements. Fabulous track that won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammys, as well as the BMI 2009 pop song. The accolades did not stop there though, as she won the Best New Artist Grammy, also in 2009, among a fistful of other nominations.
Her first album, 19, has been an astounding success, reaching Number 1 on the UK Album Chart and peaking in the Top 10 in the USA. Four tracks from this album can be enjoyed here, all of them popular singles.
Now comes her latest album, 21, which hit shops in the UK in late January, 2011 and in the US on 2/22/11. If the first track lifted from it is any indication of the rest (Rolling in the Deep), then it will be a pleasure discovering more of Adele.
