Brew a Cup of Coffee for Yourself!
Coffee is a great way to start the day, but I know that a whole pot is overkill for myself. It'll just go to waste. I've done a research trying to put together the best way to brew just a cup or two off coffee at a time, and I'm going to show you the ways I've found.
French Press Coffee Makers on Amazon
Grounds + Water = Coffee
I've written a whole page about French Press Coffee. It's the best way of brewing coffee in my opinion, and it's very scalable. Make as much or as little as you like. The coffee presses I've picked here are all towards the smaller end of the scale, perfect for a single serving of coffee.
Pod Machines
Insert Pod, Push Button, Drink Coffee
These machines can be amazing, or worthless. The coffee is typically so-so, since you can't grind it yourself, but if you get a fresh box, it can be pretty good. It's also damn simple to use, you put your pod into the coffee maker, hit a button, and voila, you have a single serving of coffee.
Coffee "teabags"
Brew a cup just like you brew tea
This isn't my favorite method of making single serving coffee. But it does have the benefit of being dead simple, and having (almost) no cleanup.
Single Mug Coffee Makers
Drip Coffee directly into the cup
These are among the most low tech ways of getting a single cup of coffee. They act just like drip machines, but instead of an integrated boiler and heating element, you need to pour water over the top of the filter yourself. This takes a bit of practice, since you don't want to just dump all the water in, you have to pour slowly. If you're looking for a really cheap way of brewing coffee, this is the way to go.

- I used to make single serve coffee all the time when I lived in an apartment. Now one serving is never enough. LOL.
