WOW! I'm 50! That sure happened fast!

I still feel like me... just a bit wiser and a lttle more seasoned by life!

Yep... I dreaded that flipping of the numbers from 48 to 50... "ouch" I thought, "how can that number possibly apply to me? I mean I am still young! A little more fine tuned in some areas, wiser in some areas and a bit more tired! :) Yes, I am now officially 50, and you know what? That's OK, even a good thing! I finally don't feel I have to prove to anyone that I am sexy or smart or ultra cool or or or... I am who I am which is a componant of all those things and more. Some of the more includes being a bit more set in my ways and having a few more aches and pains... And that's OK too because it reminds me to keep my mind fresh and open, to read, to exercize my mind as well as my body so I can be writing a blog or maybe a book about turning 70 or 80 in another 20 to 30 years. I plan to not only be around, but to live well while I am at it! Hey it's true you know: Life is just beginning at 50! I get that now! Here I go headlong & happily into this liberating new decade of my life. Please come back often & click around as I will be adding info, sites and reources for all of us seasoned young folks!

Entertainment: On your Own & with Others.

Find a comfort level in going Solo, but also Develop Community in your life.

You can get out there and experience life solo! It's great (and even crucial) to become comfortable being "alone", but don't isolate yourself. Get out there! There are many ways, from the ultra simple to the more extravagant, to find and connect with "community".

Developing community in various forms; Short term and Long term: Short term may include single travel, day trips or a single or temporary series of events. Long term may include ongoing activities, and group participation with churches, clubs of interests & volunteering.

Dating Again? Be careful and weigh the situation very carefully before committing to ANYONE. Don't leap too quickly or short change the process, ask all the questions and take your time!
