Convert any website to a PDF document

Sometimes when you're working on websites for clients it's just not possible to give them a URL to go and see if they like their website as a lot of web development is done by turning your home computer into a server and installing PHP.

So to keep your clients informed you will need to find another way for them to see how their site will look, enter sitescribe which enables you to easily convert any website into a PDF document which you can then easily send to your client.

This way your client is kept up to date and can inform you of any changes that required quickly, easily and with minimum fuss.

This Dreamweaver extension is extremely easy to use.

Export type tab

In this tab you choose whether you want sitescribe to create your PDF by you selecting the pages manually, editor previous PDF or by pointing to the URL either on your local server or on the World Wide Web.

We think the best option is just a point sitescribe at your URL and let the software do all the heavy lifting.

Select Website options

In this tab all you have to do is put in the web address of your websitewhether it's live on the web or on a local server it doesn't matter.

You can also add additional domains in this section.

Configure link settings

In this tab you will configure the link settings i.e. which type files you wish to be converted whether they be HTML, PHP, ASB, cold fusion it's up to you.

Next you will need to select whether you want the whole site to be converted to PDF or whether you want to limit the amount of pages. Select the radio button if you would like the software to follow dynamic links.

Then include any pages that you do not want in your PDF document. Then click finish and site scribe will magically turn your website into a PDF document for you.
