What makes people think that just because we are women, we can't work out as hard as men?

In saying that; a year ago I might have agreed with them. But lets get realistic here,,,

It's a lot easier for women to develop six pack abs in comparison to men - we don't usually have as much fat to burn and our metabolisms burn fat at a faster rate.

But putting this aside for a minute, just because we gained a few pounds from overeating slightly, stress or childbirth doesn't mean that we are ready for the bone yard - No Way!

I'm not going to tell you how much I weighed or how much belly fat I had BUT! I will tell you this - my life has changed because of the way I look and especially the way I feel. I will no longer think of myself as that woman and sure as hell won't go back to being her either.

A guy will go and pay a few hundred or a few thousand dollars to join a gym to get in shape, a couple of weeks or a month later he's back at the bar lifting beers instead of weights.

Women have this in built mechanism which tells us that we can achieve anything if we put our mind to it, yes we may lapse a little with the training but we get back to it and hit it even harder to compensate.

Women have a great imagination, a woman can stand in front of the mirror and imagine what she will look like with great abs, she then keeps this image in her mind and works from it.

A man will looking in the mirror and wonder what he would look like with a great six pack, five minutes later he's lost the image and has his head in the refrigerator. No offence guys but you know this is true, if it doesn't happen overnight then it's taking too long.

    All those sit ups will strengthen your abs but exercise needs to be done along with fat loss. When you says sexy abs does that mean flat stomach or flat stomach with rippling ab muscles? Doing X amount of sit ups a day will not target fat loss in your stomach area, you must create a calorie deficiency (i.e. 2,000 calories in and 3,000 calories out per day) to lose fat and exercise to create tone. Your tone will show once bodyfat % is reduced.
