I waited for a few years trying to decide between a Cricut, Silhouette, Sizzix, etc., and am very happy with my decision to purchase a Sizzix Vagabond machine from Tim Holtz, as well as many of his beautiful vintage-style alterations dies. This is my first die-cutting machine, and I absolutely LOVE my Vagabond for it's durability and ease of use. It's very simple to create multilayered "Sizzix sandwiches," plus there is video help available on Youtube from Tim Holtz and others who will aid you in crafting beautiful paper cut and embossed products. No hand-cranking necessary. :-)
