About Skateboard Decks

A skateboard deck contains 7 layers of laminated wood. In most cases the choice of wood for skateboarders is North American Hard Rock Maple Veneers. Maple is the perfect choice for a skateboard deck. It is both light and strong.

When a skateboard first comes out of the wood shop, this is called a blank deck. It is board with no graphics on it. These boards are sold to other skateboard companies or distributors to have graphics applied to them.

When we make our blank skateboard decks we choose to use only 100% North American Made Products. Our wood veneers come from Wisconsin. Our Glue comes from Ohio. Our sealants come from Pittsburgh PA. We take a ton of pride in the skateboards we manufacture.
