Skateboarding Through Time

Skateboarding became a big thing in the 70's and is still a craze among the youth and adults alike even today. Some of the leaders, like Tony Hawk, are still skating. It's something that if you practice you can continue to do. Don't forget your pads though, if you like me you don't heal as fast as you use to.

Pick a board that is your style and character. Usually your first instinct is right when picking a board and if you know what you are looking for. Look around though and make sure that you got the coolest design you could find.

The reason I wanted to share this page was to show how the older companies are going back to their old school designs to compete with the newer brands. I think it's interesting and it brings me back. I grew up in the mid 80's so Powell, Santa Cruz and Vision were very popular back then. It's cool to see the old designs come back. Fly Santa Cruz Airlines..good times.
