Harmony Art Mom's Sketch Tuesday

Sketch Tuesday is a weekly event on my blog.

  • I give a simple, open-ended sketching assignment and anyone who is interested is welcome to submit a drawing.
  • All assignments are sent to: sketchtuesday@yahoo.com
  • I make the sketches into a weekly slideshow on Flickr.
  • This Squidoo lens is the place for all of our lovely slideshows to live on the internet. Each week I will add the current week's slideshow for the assignment sketches.
  • I will also keep a running list of links to previous slideshows.
  • I will feature a sketch and announce the assignments here as well.

If you have any questions, see my blog or you can email me anytime.

These books will be a great starting point for your child to learn how to draw. We have used all of these books in our family over the years with a lot of success.

Mark Kistler's Draw Squad

My favorite book for children to learn to draw realistically. They can work through this book at their own pace and it doesn't hurt to work through it several times.
