With the temperature around 1-2 degrees, it has been quite an adjustment for the locals and expats alike... as we had long forgotten what being cold was like! Hire everything, jackets, sallopettes, boots, skis, buy branded cheap hats and gloves and off you go! The service is fantastic; as you are guided through the whole process and taken to your lockers. Ski Dubai has 5 runs that vary in difficulty, height and gradient, the longest run being 400 meters with a fall of over 60 meters.

Skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels will enjoy these various slopes and snowboarders can also practice their stunts in the Freestyle Zone. There are some great themed restaurants; St Moritz Café at the entrance to Ski Dubai, and Avalanche Café at mid-station, with views of the slope, along with a whole host of options available in the Mall itself, with some offering views of the ski slope for the happy shoppers!
