4. Skin cancer doesn't always have to be UV related or genetic. Checking for any mystery lumps and bumps on a monthly basis is a necessary precaution as a skin cancer warning signs.Also, any change in texture could be cancerous. Look for signs of discoloration.
Remember the ABCD's of skin cancer:
A - Asymmetrical - what shape does the mole have?
B - Border - If the mole has a rough edge, get it checked!
C - Color - More than one color? That could spell trouble!
D - Diameter - Moles larger than a pencil eraser should be checked!
