A huge No! No! is to go to bed without cleansing your skin. Dirt, bacteria and makeup on your skin all night long leads to clogged pores, irritation and old looking skin before it should ever look old. Use a gentle facial wash or cream. I have an aunt in her 80's with beautiful younger looking skin who claims she's never used anything except Pond's on her face.

Do this routine faithfully no matter how tired you are at night, cleanse, cleanse, cleanse. In the morning just splash on lukewarm water to refresh and apply a daytime moistuizer.

Step Two- Sunscreen!

Sunscreen. No matter where you live or what season it is be sure to have some type of UV protection.

It's been proven that as little as 10 minutes in the sun without a sunscreen can age your skin faster that any length of time sunbathing with at least a SPF (sun protection factor) of 30 or more. You should be able to find a daytime moisturizer that contains a good SPF and wear it under makeup. There are even basic makeup foundations with sunscreen.
