My amazing experience with the Magical Baiden Mitten

Baiden Mitten - how true are the claims.

Most beauty products promise the world and deliver little. That is why I was very sceptical about outragouse claims for this product, but with money back guarantee in place I just had to give it a go. Here is my experience of what happened.

My journey begins.

Day1:

This is only a sample of what Baiden Mitten removed from my skin. For the record - I have ordered Baiden Mitten out of curiosity. I did not think that it would do a lot for me, because I exfoliate very regularly. The photos I saw of results were very impressive, but I know what you can do with Photoshop, so I was no less skeptical. Here is my diary of my experience with this product:

-The Baiden mitten arrived 4 days after ordering. Because I did not expect to have it so quickly I have last exfoliated 2 days ago. I am not sure if there will be many impurities on my skin because of it, but I am off to soak in a hot bath now.

OK, finished my first exfoliation. The experience was really quite amazing. First of all I was a bit surprised at the texture of the mitt. I expected something soft, but it was quite stiff like a very fine sand paper. After soaking for ½ hour I had my first exfoliation attempt on my arm.
I could not believe how much stuff came off. Some of those rolls of dead skin combined with impurities were up to about 5 cm long (about 2 inches). Not only that, but the massage was fantastic! You know when you have an itchy back and somebody scratches it for you? Well it was about 20 times better. There and then I had a mini orgasm just exfoliating my left arm :-) It took me good 15 minutes to exfoliate my whole body as much as I could. Because you have to press pretty hard, it is quite a workout and I found that doing my back was going to be difficult. That's when I called my husband for help.

He is forever obliging and set out to do an excellent job on my back. It was easy to get him motivated when he saw how much stuff he could rub off my back. It was wonderful and invigorating and although I looked like a freshly cooked lobster I felt really fantastic and alive. He said that he hadn't realized that he had such a dirty wife!
When I rinsed off and got out of the bath I was able to assess the results. I am quite convinced, without exaggeration that on the bottom of my bath there must have been about a cupful of rolls of those impurities and dead skin. I actually fished some of them out and flushed them down the toilet because I thought that if I let all of them go down the bath drain at once it might block the drain.
Then I dried myself with a towel. Two minutes later I was again as wet as I was when I got out. I was not sure what it was, but dried myself again. And again. And again. Then it dawned on me - I was sweating profusely, just as if I was in a sauna. I was sweating even in places where I did not know that sweat glands existed; backs of my hands, my elbows, my buttocks, everywhere. I just sweated and sweated for about half an hour, after which I just could not wait any longer and so I switched a fan on and got in front of it.
After I finally finished sweating I was able to assess the state of my skin. It was incredibly smooth. When I touched my arms the feeling was similar to running your hand over the finest quality Egyptian cotton satine sheet. It felt luxurious and there was sheen to my body as if it was lightly oiled. I checked my elbows - one of my problem spots. I work on a computer all day and because of that my elbows have got calluses on them. Now they were way softer than they have been in a long time.
It took me 1 whole day to stop being bright pink and return to my normal, pale color. By the end of the day I was no longer glowing red. Note to self - do my exfoliation on the day that I do not need to go out.

Next day the only parts of my skin that did not look great were my 20 year old stretch marks. They were angry red. So was a scar on my knee. Not pretty, but I had used dermabrasion to fade my scars before and they looked the same as they tightened. I think that the Baiden Mitten might have beneficial effect on scars as well. I will keep you posted about that.

Day 2:

I slept in the buff last night because being so smooth I felt like I was sleeping on satin sheets. Except it were not sheets that had a satin feel, but my skin. I must say that I had one of the best sleeps for ages and woke up happy. I guess when you get enough oxygen in your bloodstream from the massage you are on a natural high? Getting rid of all those toxins with sweating probably also helped.

I cornered my husband and got him to soak in the bath. I figured that if I had so much skin to loose, he would have had a lot more since he never exfoliates. What I did not count on -he is pretty hairy and so the Baiden mitten could not grab onto his skin to do its job. The parts that I managed to scrub came up pretty good and since he is of English origin and naturally slightly pink, after scrubbing he looked a bit like Pigglet from Winnie the Pooh, except way, way bigger. This attempt of exfoliation was only half successful; still my husband was pleased that he was not as dirty as I was.
All this effort got me pretty sweaty (will I ever get used to sweating ALL OVER my body?) so after that I took a shower, and there I discovered that I missed some places on my skin the previous day because they did not feel as smooth as the rest of me. I decided to scrub them now in the shower. Of course one thing led to another and in the end I scrubbed my whole body again, even though with the Baiden Mitten came clear instructions not to do it more than once a week.
And I discovered why.
I managed to over scrub in some places and I got some mild skin grazing. In couple of places even a bit of a rash that looked like a heat rash. It was a bit painful, so I got Aloe Vera gel out. It stung a bit when I applied it, but quickly stopped hurting.
This time much less of the impurtities came off (understandably), but the massage was just as wonderful. I was still as red as a lobster and still sweated for half an hour, but felt light and uplifted.

This time I was only bright red for half a day though. I guess my skin is getting used to it. My skin is so smooth on the inside of my arms it feels like glass when I touch it. I have only felt a skin like that before on babies. I love it.

Things that I observed after 2 sessions of using the Baiden Mitten:

  • My clothes fit better, not because I lost weight, but because they do not cling to my body as much.
  • The pores on my face are smaller and they are clean. There are very few blackheads in them now. Mainly they are just empty.
  • I "suddenly" grew hair on my arms! I actually did not know I had hair on my forearms because the skin there was always darker, even in winter (I live in a tropical paradise). Now my skin on my arms is much lighter, so the color of the hair really stands out.
  • Also, freckles on my face, chest and arms are more visible. Again, I think that my skin got lighter so although most probably I now have less freckles they are not joined together to form a tan, but are separated. That makes me think that maybe in time I will be able to get rid of all the freckles altogether? Is it possible that I might finish with a skin like Nicole Kidman, but without spending millions of dollars to achieve it?
  • My stretch marks actually look worse, because they are red and puffed up.
  • My body feels tighter; it is especially visible on my upper arms.
  • My chest is much smoother; a lot of my bumps that I really hated are much flatter.

In the evening my grazed skin was feeling much better and again I slept in the buff. I think I could get used to it.

Learning experiences.

Day3:
My skin looks great (actually even better than yesterday) and all the pain from grazed skin has gone. Now I understand not only why I should not use the mitt more than once a week, but also why I should never share it with anybody else. It is such a deep exfoliation, if used inappropriately (as I have done) and the skin is grazed, you could transfer infections from one person to another. You might use it as suggested but somebody else that you are sharing it with might not, and you can end up with some nasty skin condition. No more sharing Baiden Mitt with my husband, although as far as I can tell neither one of us has any skin problems. But you never know.

My skin color is much more uniform than I normally have and it is a little bit more pink than usual. I think that the vigorous skin massage started to nourish the skin better and it looks glowing. I like it. A lot.

Today I decided to apply my favorite self tanner -Safetan. I want to see how my new skin will work with the fake tanning solution.
I apply it in the evening and go to bed (not in the nude this time, just in case some of the tan will come off on the sheets).
When I wake up I take a shower and examine my tan. It is absolutely gorgeous. I have not applied any barrier cream whatsoever and my ankles are not orange at all as they would have been if I did not use the Baiden Mitten. My knees and elbows are not too bad at all, although I do give them just a light rub to make it perfect. This is so great! This time the tan has a glow to it as if I used body shimmer lotion. Except it is not the tan glowing, it is my skin.

Day 5:
My tan is still going strong, although it IS slightly lighter. It is also still very even, no white patches anywhere not even on my feet even thought I wore runners when jogging. Normally by this stage my tan would be virtually nonexistent on my skin and if I wanted to keep it longer I would have to use tan extending cream. I have used nothing and the only place that is lighter is my face because every night I use a toner which has exfoliating properties.
I am in two minds: I would like to keep the tan longer, on another hand I really want to use Baiden Mitten again. I think it is addictive. My skin is still glowing as it was after exfoliating 5 days ago, but now that I know what Baiden can do - I want more!

I decide to scrub. This time I do not have a bath, but a long shower. I scrub my whole body till both of my arms ache. This time although still a lot of stuff comes off, it's not as much as the first time. Not surprising, if you do your math it is only 5 days after my last session, not 7 as recommended.
I get my husband to do my back again, and again he manages to get a lot off. I glow brilliant pink again, and this time I get smarter. I turn the hot water off and rinse off in cold water. WOW - the feeling is unbelievable. I can still feel myself sweating, but the cooling effect of cold water is fantastic. Now I know why Scandinavians roll in the snow after a sauna. I am sure this is great for my skin!
I am pleased to report that my skin is getting used to the whole process and I can rub harder without any discomfort and the redness does not last long at all. After about 1 hour I could, if I chose to, go out and look sort of "normal".
This time I learned that although your skin needs to be wet, it is best to squeeze as much water out of the Baiden mitten as you can. Otherwise it does not get as much dirt off. I also learned that it is good to scrub up and down first and them from side to side. I also did a much better "detailing" job on my face, feet and hands.
The best way to do it is to rinse the mitt as usual under hot water and squeeze out as much water as you can, then wrap one corner of the mitt around your "scrubbing finger" and then gently go around your face, your hands and toes, everywhere where it is more difficult to do a good job with a full hand.
Be gentle when you use the Baiden mitten at first. I have pressed too hard and got a little bit grazed skin around my nose, under my breasts and in my armpits. And if you do get overexcited, make sure you have some pure Aloe Vera gel on hand.

Day 10:
Today is a no scrubbing day, but I keep examining my body for changes. I found that the pores on my nose closed up significantly and now my nose is very shiny (hey, Rudolf). I always thought that I have a bit of Rosacea on my nose and around it, but with the pores closed I now see that it is rather few capillaries that look like roots of the tree.
Open pores used to diffuse this effect, but now I can see clearly what it is. I will have to get them "done" now with IPL, I think.
It is strange how ambitious I suddenly got. I have never been very vain and some redness did not worry me before, but now, suddenly I want my skin perfect. I suppose that for the first time in my life I actually believe that it might be possible.

Day 11:
Another no scrubbing day, but I noticed that the scar on my knee looks much better. Half of it, which was not too bad to start with, does not look any different from the rest of the skin on my knee, and the rest of it got very "wrinkly", so it is not as visible. Also a shallow scar from immunization on my arm is so much better that I actually had to look for it. I have ordered more mitts for my boys who have mild acne scarring. I think it might help.
I think my skin is cleansing itself from within because a lot of hard little scaby things are coming up to the surface. They feel like grains of sugar and I keep scratching them off, so my skin is a bit marked with numerous little scabs, but they heal quite quickly, fall of and the skin looks good. I also got a couple of really big pimples - you know the kind that feel like half of your face is getting sucked into them, but they matured, got popped (I know it is naughty) and went away within 3 days. I have not had them for ages, so I am sure that it is the effect of Baiden Mitten.
My skin seems to heal faster now. I lightly nicked the top of my hand 2 days ago and today I could not find any trace of it any more. I think that I might be becoming a Superhero. Cool.

Day 12 and 13:
The weekend was very hot. It is coming towards our Australian summer and we are having an early heat wave. No scrubbing days again.
Because of the heat my pores opened slightly and my face became quite oily. That is different because normally I have dry skin because of manapouse. I think it is just a phase in my skin clensing itself because on day 13 it is a bit less oily. I remembered a good trick of getting rid of excess oil - just place a tissue over your face and blot. The oil will get soaked into the tissue and your face will lose that oily shine again. Repeat when necessary.

Day 14:
Another no scrubbing day. Today I have a meeting, so I put make up on. It glides on so much more smoothly, and the effect is great! I would not say yet that I now have a porcelain skin on my face, but it is definitely a big improvement.

Day 15:
Baiden Mitten scrubbing day again. I have learned a good lesson today.
I sat in a pretty warm bath (I am not keen on warm baths in summer) for about 1 hour, until I looked like a prune, and THEN scrubbed. OMG. So, this is how it is supposed to be done. I did not have to scrub hard at all, and the dirt came in very long and thick rolls. I even did my back by myself, and the rolls of dirt even came off my face. Since I did not have to press hard on my skin, I did not get any skin grazing.
I can only imagine what a combination of Baiden Mitten with sauna or Jacuzzi could be! At the moment I have no way of testing it out, but I will keep it in mind as a thing to do in the future.
I think that for the first time I have actually used Baiden Mitten in a way that it was intended to be used.

Day Whatever:
I lost count of the days, but I have not scrubbed yet. The little scaly things that I scratched off healed over and now my skin looks really even in coloring. My hands and feet are AMAZING, the cellulite on my thighs is way less visible (I am one of those lucky women that does not have a lot of cellulite, but even that little bit looks less), my stretch marks are now lighter and tighter and I had to put a towel in front of the keyboard, because my elbows are so soft that it hurt not to have any padding.
I spoke to the lady that imports Baiden Mittens. She has been using them for over 30 years. She tells me that from now on the difference will be only gradual, and not as extreme as after the first couple of uses, but if I compare my skin now and 6 months from now I will hardly be able to believe the results. I have seen her photos. Her skin IS like a porcelain doll, and she tells me she, and other women in her family that have been using the Baiden Mitten HAVE NEVER HAD ACNE!
I really must check that out. Maybe as usual, prevention can be better than cure?

Before Baiden.

Before Baiden

This photo has been taken already after I have used Baiden Mitten twice, so my skin already is much better than it was before I have started using Baiden altogether. You can still see that my skin is angry red from being so very sensitive, my pores are still large and my skin is droopy and loose, especially on my eyelids.

After Baiden

After Baiden

This photo is taken 2 months after starting using Baiden Mitten. Taking this photo was quite a revealing exercise to me because while I concentrated on examining my wrinkles and blemishes every day during the two months, I quite missed the big picture. I did not notice the biggest change which was that the skin on the whole face (and the body for that matter) has tightened considerably. You can see that my eyelids are so much tighter and the cheeks are not so droopy any more. The skin around my jawline is also uplifted.
Additionally, as you might notice the wrinkles are shallower, the most visible difference on my deep wrinkle between eyebrows.
And to my relief - the skin is not angry and inflamed any more, and not sensitive either. It is hardy, resilient and good color apart from some broken capillaries that I have had for a long time and that spoil the overal effect.

Two Months After Starting to Use Baiden Mitten.

This is such a journey of discovery! It is exciting to see new and wonderful things about my skin. For instance - my skin is no longer sensitive to the sun. Ever since I started menopause my skin became super sensitive in many ways, and the worst one of those was that I could not even do as much as to get a newspaper from the letter box or I would burn. Seeing that I live in a very sunny Australia it really had impact on my lifestyle. I felt like a vampire - unable to show my face in a sunny place. In contrast now, it takes me a very long time to tan at all (about 2 hours in early morning sun) and when I do I tan brown. I have never tanned brown before unless I was EXTREMELY careful. Mind you I did push the envelope a bit the other day and went out in midday sun for over 2 hours and I DID burn, but it was nowhere near as bad as I would have burned if I did not use Baiden Mitten. In one day I went from red to deep brown and never even peeled.
I can now tell when my body needs to be scrubbed with Baiden Mitten because my skin feels clammy and I feel like I have trouble taking in enough oxygen.
I have learned that some parts of my body like my torso need scrubbing more often than the rest of my body, so I now scrub twice a week. Whole body one day, the other times just my torso.
When I scrubbed my face twice a week it actually got worse, not better in that my pores got larger and the skin was not as tight as it normally is. On the other hand although I only use Baiden Mitten on my face once a week now, I can scrub it pretty hard, even on my eyelids, under eyes and on my lips. The result - my eyelids got a lot tighter and although I still have some wrinkles under my eyes they only appear when I smile, otherwise they are not really visible. And my lips- oh, my lips are DELICIOUS. Extremely smooth, great color and plump.

My very old stretch marks on my tummy have improved DRAMATICALLY. Mind you, I scrub my tummy very hard twice a week, but the stretch marks are not continous lines now, but have breaks along their length. The outer ones have dissappeared alltogether. After 30 years I am again contemplaiting buying a bikini. Really.

Scars are still there but they have become more wrinkly so they blend in better. I am not sure if they will totally dissappear in time but I do not really care. Maybe if I had some on my face it would have been an issue, but on my knee? Nah.

Nine months after starting to use Baiden Mitten.

Update4: It is now nine months after I have started using Baiden Mitten. The biggest effects appeared when the weather turned cold.

  • Without external heat the pores on most of my face almost completely dissappeared. The tip of my nose is as smooth as glass now.
  • The forehead is smooth and little wrinkles are gone. The deep wrinkle betweem my eyes is still there, but much shallower.
  • A lot of sun damage is gone, but now, instead of few big brown spots on my face, chest and hands I have lots of small ones instead. While I genuinely believe that with time all those would go away as well, I have an appointment to get IPL on my face, because I do not want to wait that long.
  • My capillaries must have strengthened, because my rosacea is less, especially in the mornings my skin is all even color, but as day progresses I get pink around my nose and chin.
  • In winter, I definitely have to apply moisturizer to my whole body after scrubbing, because if I don't, my skin gets a bit dry.
  • I have lost about 10 years off my hands and feet. Not only are they lighter in color, but there must have been some serious collagen production. My hands were beginning to look a bit bony and with somewhat protruding veins, but now they look like those of a much younger woman.
  • The skin on the whole body is really nice quality, healthy and not sagging, although I lost some weight (strange, how when you start to fix one thing, you get inspired to improve other areas as well).
  • My scars are definitely less visible. Even the deep one on my knee. Only about 1/3 of it still looks like a scar, the rest of it just looks of slightly thicker texture than the rest of skin around it. To really see how extensive it was I have to rub it hard and then it turns pink. Yep, it was a really big scar! Covered about 3/4 of my knee.
  • I had some moles on my arms. Some of them crusted over and then fell off! I am not sure if they would have eventually turned into a cancer, but they are now gone and the skin in those places looks like those little moles have never even existed. Some bigger ones shrunk in size considerably.

Summarizing, this little body exfoliating tool has become my major beauty product. I have a lot of empty space in my bathroom drawers now after getting rid of all the face and body products that I have trialed in my quest to find the elusive fountaing of youth. Most of them did absolutely nothing for me and were just a waste of money (I am sure that many of you will identify with that statement).

It is very liberating not to have to worry about my skin any more apart from the my bi weekly routine of exfoliating with Baiden Mitten and daily moisturizing. I do not go into cosmetic supermarket isles any more and I do not waste time on internet looking at cosmetic sites. I am easily saving at least $100 per month on body and face cosmetics.

Here is a video I found about Baiden Mitten.

What this lady says is very much my experience as well. I really love what this little beauty aid has been doing to my skin and although I am quite sure that I will never have better skin than I had as a teenager, I am really happy just to have exceptional skin for my age (50s).
I think that I could be counted as being one of the better customers of that company, because to date I have bought Mittens for all my 5 kids, my husband and my mother. I have also purchased few spare ones just in case I could have trouble finding them in the future.

iv been Baiden Mitten now for only two weeks, i can also safely say that it is amazing, my skin feels sooo smooth, almost as smooth as my 7 month old sons body! :) i was very sceptical at first as its only a mitten and i thought it couldnt be as great as people are saying, so i gave it a go and i watched in amazement as all the impurities rolled off my skin whilst i exfoliated. it was amazing!! after my bath i felt sooo clean and refreshed, that night i slept in the nude because i loved the feel of my skin against the bed covers, my husband ompliments me already on how smooth my skin is. my face at the moment has broken out in a few spots but i guess thats from all the toxins or whatever are coming out and then my skin will settle down, even though i do have a few pimples my face still shines and feels brilliant!! ladies or men this product is a definate thing we all cannot live without :) give it a try i promise you will fall in love with it as much as i did!! good luck guys :)

So excited for you! It is amazing feeling, isn't it? Yes, I got few breakouts too, but they very quickly settled. Sometimes I still get them, but they last only a day and just go away. Now, you can throw away most of your cosmetics, I did :-) Or rather I just poured them into a big bottle with some liquid soap and made a wonderful hand wash solution. It was a bit hard putting some of them which cost over $100 but I will never use them now, so at least I put them to some use LOL
