Skinception a new Stretch Mark Removal Cream

Let me say from the start, no cream completely gets rid of stretch marks. Unfortunately, you can only fade them enough to diminish their appearance. I've used Mederma and Revitol, both have been partially effective, but there's a new product on the market that's working wonders on my skin. Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy. I've never been happier.

You Can Gain Weight and Lose Weight

But Stretch Marks are Forever

Changes in your body such as weight gain or loss can caus stretch marks.I've struggled with my weight since I was six years old. By the age of nine, I was on diet pills. When I was in my twenties, through constant starvation diets and constant exercise, I thought I'd conquered my "fat" demons. By the time I was forty-five, I'd gained all that weight back, plus a few more pounds.

The constant stress on my skin has led to stretch marks - everywhere. My breasts, belly, upper arms - you name a body part and I'll show you a stretch mark.

But, it's not just being overweight that causes stretch marks. If you lift weights or body-build, if you get pregnant, if you go through a sudden growth spurt, tears in your skin tissues cause stretch marks.

The Best Way to Treat Stretch Marks?

Don't Get Them In the First Place

Pregnant? There are things you can do to avoid stretch marks. While the title of this section is meant to be funny, the thought behind it is dead serious. The absolute and only way to treat stretch marks is to not get them.

I will now duck while the pregnant women in the room start throwing things.

Seriously, if you are going through changes in your body such as pregnancy, make sure you drink plenty of water at "regular" intervals. Don't gulp down all your water at once. Keep your body and your skin cells hydrated by drinking water every 15 to 30 minutes. You'd be shocked at what keeping your cells hydrated can do to prevent stretch marks.

You should also keep your skin moisturized. While some women I know swear by coco butter, clinical tests have proven that it's not effective in treating the development of stretch marks. The products that are effective are expensive. I mentioned Mederma earlier. At thirteen dollars for a small tube, it is no cheap date. Neither is Revitol. It's effective as the dickens, but you are going to pay through the nose for an effective product.

That's simply the way the skin care industry is set up. So, while the price of Skinception was pretty much what I expected, I was surprised at the generous bottle it came in.

So, if your body is changing, remember hydration and moisture are key in keeping stretch marks from developing.

Why I Don't Trust Before and After Pictures

And Neither Should You

I'm a firm believer in trying it myself. I don't trust before and after pictures. I'm adept at PhotoShop, while Hubby, who's a photographer has forgotten more tips and tricks than I'll ever know.

Unfortunately seeing, is no longer believing. So, what can you believe?

That State Attorney Generals delight in suing people who make false claims on the web. And that Leading Edge, the people who make Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy and the Skinception product line, put their products through intensive clinical trials through independent labs and then back them up with a 60 day money back guarantee.

None of this shady 7 days to cancel, where you don't get your product for several weeks. Click here to read the full guarantee.

What Makes Skinception So Good

That I Was Willing to Sell It

Beauty JunkieI'm a HUGE follower of new science developments in beauty. When Total Curve came out and they had clinical proof that it increased breast size, I was so there. Latisse, ditto. Who wouldn't want longer lashes? Hydrolized collagen creams, yeah fewer wrinkles!

I am a beauty junky, my friend. And when I found out, I could not only recommend these products to my friends and family, but I could also sell them online, I was thrilled. There was only one problem. I can't sell anything that doesn't work. While I could make a lot of money pushing stuff on unsuspecting women - I just can't.

So when I find something that does work, I do my little jiggle dance, squee like a fan girl meeting Justin Bieber, and try and set down the points I love about the product before they fly out of my head.

With Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy, the biggest selling point was that it contained Regestril.

What is Registril?

And Why Does it Make Me Jump for Joy?

Siegesbeckia orientalis LI think I'm one of the few people around who actually goes to clinicaltrials.gov for light reading. But, I'll read any clinical trial report I can get my hands on, especially ones that relate to the anti-aging and beauty industry.

In clinical trials, Registril was used on women who had been pregnant to see what effect it had on their stretch marks. It reduced deep scarring of stretch marks by 72% during a 50 day period. The appearance of redness was improved by 20%. For me, this was great news. My stretch marks are lighter than my skin, but they are deep and wide. The only reservation I had about the trial was the number of women. I wished they had used a broader sample.

When Skinception was announced, I thought, "Oh, another stretch mark remover?" And I yawned. Then I read the ingredients and started to get excited. In addition to Registril, it also contained Darutoside.

It's rare that I get tripped up on a herbal. But I have to admit, this one stumped me. Darutoside is an extract from Siegesbeckia orientalis L. I didn't know it under it's Latin name either. It is one of those under-reported herbals that that can be used for wound healing and it promotes collagen growth.

Collagen growth is key to repairing scar tissue.

I saw an extract on a clinical trial done using Darutoside, and while it's effects were not as good for deep stretch marks, it worked very well on stretch marks that were discolored.

But, best of all, I've yet to read a report about any kind of negative reaction for users of either of these products, used separately or together. I have very sensitive skin, so this was an important issue for me.

The Skinception Product Line

Does This Mean I Have to Revise?

Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark TherapyThe Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy is only the first of three skin care products being released by Skinception. They are being very closed mouthed about about the other two. Hopefully, I will have reviews available for them in the near future.

I advocate non surgical methods for beauty. I'm big on creams, especially those that boost collagen production and I'm also enthusiastic about the new sciences that produce great results and the old herbals, which are finally getting their past due recognition. Skinception is off to a great start.

It's a great photo. Believe it or not, I actually ran across it first in a banner for Harry Potter fanfiction.
