Warcraft Pro: Skinning

Skinning is a gathering profession. This means that you won't be crafting anything, merely gathering and grinding for materials which you can then either use or sell.

It's a pretty easy profession to get started with and as long as you check out the various areas you'll be in for skinnable creatures. Pick up a skinning knife and bag and you're golden.

Skinners also acquire a passive ability known as Master of Anatomy which increases your critical strike rating based on your skinning skill level.

You have one goal as a skinner: Skin things. That's it. You skin creatures, you then turn around and sell the skins to leatherworkers for them to make stuff. If you happen to be a leatherworker, then more power to you. Occasionally, skins are used as components in engineering items.

This profession is great for selling on the auction house or if you can make a deal to somebody's supplier, that can pay off as well.
