Besonders moechten wir auch das Project www.1000peacewomen.org empfehlen.

Wer ist Warchild - Foundation ?
Warchild ist eine 1995 in Holland gegruendete Stiftung, um Kindern in ( ehemaligen ) Kriegsgebieten zu helfen. Besonders kuemmern Sie sich um die sog. Kindersoldaten. Diese Kinder sind zum Teil mit brutaler Gewalt gezwungen worden, Ihre Angehoerigen und andere zu ermorden. Sie sind schwerst traumatisiert und Warchild versucht, Ihnen einen Weg in ein "normales " Leben zurueckzugeben. Besonders sog. Befreiungsarmeen in Afrika wie z.B. in Kenia etc. sind dafür beruechtigt. Sie fallen Nachts ueber einsame Dörfer her und rauben die Kinder, um sie als Kindersoldaten zu nutzen...
Daneben kuemmert sich Warchild auch die "klassichen" Kriegskinder, die keine Soldaten waren, aber durch Kriege wie in Tschetschenien ihre Familien etc. verloren haben und selber seelische und koerperliche Schaeden haben.

Das Masenoproject ist ein christliches Waisenhausproject mit kleiner Klinic in Kenya / Westafrica. Dort wird den Aermsten geholfen, die sonst keine Moeglichkeiten haben, weil die naechsten Kliniken zu weit weg bzw. nicht bezahlbar sind.

- There is so much more to worry about in the world. But yet and still I wake up wondering what to wear, what to do, and how to do it. When theres others whom wake up with nothing to wear, no home, food, or medical. Going to fight for a humane cause thats never heard, and figuring out a way to do all that w/o getting oppresed more. I lowered my head watchig this because I have a voice that travels to many ears. Then those ears voices travel even further. But I have not said a word. Looking here made me understand there are people out here fighting for civil rights, food, water, medical, etc... So now I will use my voice and for those whom read this. It was your invitation to use your too. Good job Con :-)
