Dreams or nightmares?
I couldn't afford a new bed until my big brother stepped in and offered to buy me one. I looked into just about every mattress type available. The two big contenders were Tempur-Pedic and the Sleep Number Bed.
Personal comparison
My back had never hurt that bad. It took about a half hour to get loosened up again so I could function.
I thought maybe too many people had slept in that bed and it was worn out (which didn't bode well either), so I found someone who had one, new, and spent the night on it. I had the exact same pain in the morning and the same problems finding the right number.
I laid on a Tempur-Pedic in the store and liked it so much I bought it. I've had it for a couple of years and have no complaints. It's comfortable and causes me no pain.
That's my comparison...what's yours?
It's your turn!
If you've got a Tempur-Pedic or a Sleep Number Bed, give your opinion. Please don't respond if you've never tried either bed.
Which one do you prefer?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byTempur-Pedic, baby!

We have had a Sleep Number bed for 3 years now and I am still unable to find my sleep number. I now find myself sleeping on a couch most of the time which does not make anyone happy. My husband is now begining to have back pain in the mornings so we have decided to purchase a Tempur-Pedic bed.

Sleep Number, man!
Lue says:
Well, we love our Sleep Number bed. We made that decision after we purchased Tempur-pedic pillows and the heat and eventual lack of support after 5 years led us out to get the Sleep Number Bed. We have it for two years and it really suits out needs. I have never had a set number rather it changes with time. My husband likes his side soft and I like mine firm what other bed allows for that ability. We are always able to find our support and comfort. No complaints. We also have medflow pillows which are great!

Our 2 yr old Temperpedic sags, too. Husband cannot sleep... and wow, I thought I was just having hot flashes... but the heat it retains in incredible! Actually wake up with wet hair due to the pillow and mattress!

My Tempur-Pedic sucks! It is a king size, sags on both sides with a huge hump in the middle and both my husband and I have trouble sleeping from the body heat the bed holds in. I was sad to see my husband's company cut out bonuses this year--we were using that to get a sleep number! (My parents rave about theirs after getting rid of their crappy tempur-pedic as well.)

Great lens! It has a good explanation about Tempur-Pedic Mattresses. I had the same problem of back pain and just got rid of it by using tempur pedic mattress. Now I'm very happy. You can visit our fat boy bean bags website for more detail about mattresses.
