Slimes are strange characters who play all kind of sports, for example volleyball, basketball or soccer. The first Sime game was discovered in 1999 by an Australian Computer Science student named Clive Gout. Nobody knows who created the original game but it had become an instant classic. After Clive had sent it to Quin Pendragon he made an improved version of the original with better physics and graphics. Quin Pendragon's modification started the whole Slime Game Thing. Slime Volleyball

The most popular Slime sport is volleyball with 1-4 players. It is a simple volleyball game where you try to let the ball hit the ground on your opponents side to score. To make things more interesting creative programmers added different twists to the gameplay so for example in one of the mods you have special abilities or in another one you can fly and jump over the net. When you play against the computer things start to get interesting. You may wonder why this game is so addictive but after you try to beat AI opponents you will know what I am talking about.

Slime Soccer

There are many soccer mods also where you try to put the ball in your opponents goal while you can be pinged for goal tending. Single player mode is available where you play for the World Cup against other countries. You can chose your color and homeland.

Slime Basketball

Although there is only one basketball mod this is the second most popular Slime sport. There are two hoop-sized goals in the air and you try to put the ball in it. In addition either player can get pinged for goal tending on eihter side of the court.

Other Slime Sports

Besides the sports mentioned above you can try a whole bunch of funny sports. One of my favourite is bowling that is a mixture of classic bowling and soccer. You can relax with boxing, play dodgeball or try pong. There are funny mods where you can play volleyball with a beachball or have Matrix style slow motion!
