Toys for small dogs

A recent trend in dog toys takes advantage of your dog's ability to solve problems. The I-Qube is Roc's absolute favorite - he loves it when I stuff a toy into his "Qubie" and tell him to Find It! And he just looks so darn cute when he manages to dig it out and presents me with his prize! Your little dog will love the Babble Ball! It talks or makes animal sounds when it's touched and turns off if it's not touched in a few seconds. Made of hard plastic, the Babble Balls roll like crazy, all the while chatting, laughing or making sounds. Each Babble Ball is about 2 inches in diameter.

Your little dog will love the Pet Qwerks Mini Plush Toys! They're just the right size - only about 4 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches wide. They're super soft and make animal noises! All the dogs make a cute begging sound. The Chimp makes monkey sounds, the Pig "oinks," and the Tree Frog "ribbits."

The Latex Soccer Ball is Ceilidh's (Golly's Boston Terrier sister) favorite toy in the entire universe! She could play fetch with this little soccer ball for, literally, hours! It's also fun to run around with, as you can see on the right with Coconut and Tuffy chasing Doc (all Miniature Poodles).
The ball is made of the best Spanish latex, it squeaks nicely when squeezed even a little, and bounces like crazy! The Latex Soccer Ball is durable, non-toxic and washable (a rinse in water is usually all that's needed). 2 or 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

Our little dogs love the Timberwolf Rope Toys! Some of these toys are great for tugging, others are great for fetching, but they're all loads of fun! The ropes are great for flossing their little teeth and at just 3/8 inch in diameter, they're easy for our little dogs to handle. Many have 1 3/4 inch diameter rubber balls that our little dogs can sqeeze, others have fun rubber "gears" that are 1 3/4 inches in diameter. The gears have little nubs that clean teeth and massage gums.

This is a wonderful toy for any little dog - great for chewing on, fetching, carrying around, playing tug-of-war. This is the toy your little dog will love. One of the tassels even has embroidered, "Dog's Best Friend!" The Wubba is made of very strong canvas, which wraps two round squeakers - a small one at the top, and a larger one (about 1 1/2 inch in diameter) in the center, and finishes with great tassels (less than an inch wide and about 4 inches long).

It can hold up to a persistent chewer (although we haven't found anything that will last forever), and has enough weight to throw a distance, without being too heavy for our little guys to carry happily. Wubbas are even made of eco-friendly materials. This toy isn't glamorous, but it is a great dog toy!

The TreatStik is a great way to put the interest back in your pup's mealtimes! Some little dogs need to be persuaded to eat, but many times that's because they're just bored. The TreatStik makes meals a fun game. When you put your dog's kibble in the TreatStik, roll it around on the floor so that a few pieces fall out of the small hole, she'll see how much fun it is to play! She'll get the hang of the TreatStik in no time and be eager for the game!

Alternatively, it's a great toy! Just put a few pieces of kibble or a couple of treats in the TreatStik and your lazy dog will be chasing it all over the place once he figures out there's good stuff to be had!

Is the squirrel your little dog's nemesis out in the yard? Then what could be more fun than having a toy Squirrel for his very own!
