Sometimes you probably hate your face!

Hey, don't feel too bad about this. I think we all go through these phases at times. The problem is our faces are delicate organs.

Face, the issue at hand.

No punn intended...

It's not like the skin on your back or legs. No sir; the face is much more delicate. Your mug likely requires constant care and attention. At least if you want it to look half-way decent. This goes double for those who grapple with oily skin. Once you hit puberty, you mug is probably breaking out on a regular basis. This is clearly the downside of oily skin and hormones. So what you need now is an oily skin treatment regimen. In order to get your greasy T-zone under control, you must know how to cleanse and treat it. So put down that harsh bar of deodorant soap and pay attention!

First and foremost, when you're dealing with oily skin, don't make assumptions. Just because your face is oily, doesn't mean you need to cleanse it six times a day with some harsh product. This is actually the last thing you want to do. Irritating it will only lead to more breakouts. Your first move should be to acquire an oily skin treatment such as Proactive Solution, or specific products from Neutrogena. Many drugstore brands now offer oily skin treatment products to assist you in your battle. Most likely you're going to follow the directions of the facial cleanser you choose and wash your mug in the morning and before bed. Yes, I only said twice. Cleansing more than this will likely just dry out your skin. This is never good. Once you've cleansed, there are a number of products to select from. If you went with the Proactive kit, you will follow the cleansing process with a toner and finish with an acne fighting moisturizer. This allows your complexion to clear as the day goes on. The product will battle the acne and help minimize your pores.

Part of the battle involves diet. What you consume is a major oily skin treatment. Eating loads of vegetables and lean meats will definitely assist you in clearing your complexion. This is called treating from the inside out. Avoid fast food, greasy foods and sugary snacks. All of which can upset your pores and lead to more breakouts. And finally, if you can't seem to find an oily skin treatment that works for you, see a dermatologist as soon as possible for assistance.

There are many products out there dealing with all types of skin conditions and care.

Animal Product Testing

Flat out against it!

For many years, a lot of people have assumed that product testing on animals is a necessary, if tragic, practice. Nowadays, however, people in the animal rights and environmental movement know that animal product testing is unnecessary, cruel, and easily replaced by more humane methods of research in most cases. The vast majority of animal product tests are done in situations where they can not possibly be justified. Testing perfumes, cosmetics, and other consumer products on animals rarely makes sense, since we already know the way that these products affect humans who are exposed to them. Even animal product testing involving new medicines is usually inferior to modeling the effect of the medication on computer simulations.

Of course, ending animal product testing is not the only thing that we have to do to end animal cruelty. A lot of the ways that we treat animals simply have to be changed. Some of them make me sick to even think about. For example, the meat and animal products industry is a disaster in every sense of the word. Animals are raised in small, constrictive pens where they barely have any room to move at all. They are slaughtered in ways that are painful and inhumane, and denied veterinary care while they are alive. Even many so-called organic farms are not much better. As a community, a nation, and a world, it is time that we take a long look at how we treat our fellow creatures and make some big changes.

Fortunately, there are a lot of things that even one individual can do to help end animal product testing. One of the very best things you can do is to donate to some charity that is working to help. There are all kinds of animal rights charities out there, including groups that focus on helping animals in general and organizations that focus more narrowly on animal product testing or some other issue. It is all up to you to find the one that seems to be doing the best work.

Even better than simply donating money to some sort of charity is getting involved yourself. You can start by writing letters to your local represented officials urging them to help end animal product testing. If you want to get even more involved, can volunteer for one of the charities out there working on ending animal cruelty. Not only is this one of the best ways to help, but it will also be a great way to make friends and feel good about yourself.
