Eureka! The Smart Vac 4870 Even Cleans up Pet Hair!

The Eureka Smart Vac is an efficient budget-priced vacuum cleaner. I purchased the Smart Vac over three years ago and it is still working as efficiently as the day I received it. The HEPA filtration system is a big help if you have anyone in your household that has dust allergies.

The Smart Vac has so many advantages that include the carpet height button and the bare floor option. You can also disconnect the hose from the vacuum cleaner to remove foreign objects like the pencil that you find under your sofa!

One of the best things about this vacuum cleaner is that it actually cleans pet hair! We have two cats, so this is a "must have" option! The vacuum is not too heavy so it is easy to carry up the stairs. The extra hose extensions make it easy to reach the cobwebs in the corner of your ceiling.

The only negative thing about this model is that the attachments don't clip on very tightly. So, I just keep the attachments in my cleaning supply carry-all container. You also need to buy bags for this model.

"I never thought i'd say this, but I love this vacuum cleaner! This is the ONLY vacuum I've ever had that actually works. It'll suck the carpet right off the floor. Going on three years of abuse, dropping it down stairs, never changing the filter, sucking up carpet strings and branches from the Christmas trees and it still cleans my black carpet perfectly. Great deal if you're looking for a cleaner with lots of suction. I like the hose feature and use it for everything. Highly recommended. "

When my Dyson quits on me, I might try a different brand. I'll have to keep this one in mind.

I think my next vac may be one of those ones that vacs and steams at the same time. At least, that's the idea I've been toying with lately. We have gone carpetless and I am really happy with that decision!

I am still undecided as to my next vac. But this review has given me something to think about. I really like the bag-less and hepa filter that my current vac has.

It looks great, but I love my Hoover. We have lots of cats and I found something that works well for me. I'm always glad to hear about another vac for pet hair and will keep it in mind if mine ever dies.

The Eureka smart vac sounds great. We are an allergy family, so every extra bit sucked up by the vacuum is a big help.

I've never had one, but I am considering.

I've never had a bagless vacuum cleaner. (You might consider adding an I don't have a preference type of answer to your poll.) This sounds like a good machine; I like the fact that you have had it for three years without any issues.

I have had Eureka vacuums before and really liked them. But, with hardwood floors, I have switched to Bissell's Vac and Steam. But, I keep my old Eureka for the furniture and the cobwebs. And, you are right about the pet hair!
