Smell O Vision

Well Real D and 3D movies are really taking off again, plus the demand and experimentation of smell o vision is global - From Tokyo to the UK. Regular people and massive companies alike are becoming more and more aware of this technology and its benefits. Just look at you, your here and reading. Good Huh?

Scent marketing is predicted to make some colossal moves in the advertising and marketing industries in 2009, I know its not the same thing as smell o vision, but the ideas and the power of scent are what drive it. Eventually, and I only say eventually because the stuff already exists and just need to go "mainstream" people will be loading educational material (especially young kids learning stuff) with scents. The world is going digital, we have already had audio added to sites and even video - they call it web 2.0? (that plus the social networking).

Of coarse there is supposedly global warming and scarcity of oil (don't get me started), so I guess more and more stuff will be going digital and people will be avoiding the manufacture of plastics and CDs etc. Virgin media in the UK have already started offering movies for download and its only a matter of time till Hollywood want to cash in on the whole smell o vision game.

The great thing is, that unlike the past where only die hard movie goers would want to endure the heavy layering smells in the cinema, new research suggests smells are most powerful when unconsciously preconceived. So that means most of the time only teeny-weenie quantities of smell need to be dispensed to make sure viewers have a more immersive and compelling experience. All other times just the suggestion of a smell can trigger its effects upon us poor humans. Oh and for those of you with allergies you will be happy to know that dry-air scent delivery systems are available so you can be part of the fun too!

The demand for more immersive and realistic gaming is MASSIVE, I wont even begin to cover that here, il just run out of space and cause my readers eyes seizures. But I will tell you millions of dollars are being spent every year to produce systems like the Phillips amBX to get you totally hooked into your games. Millions. Millions
