SmileBox

SmileBox is a service that is truly unique among today's online offerings, one that is at the convergence of digital scrapbooking, egreetings, and photo sharing.

The SmileBox service offers a creative way for consumers to share their stories with friends and family using their photos, videos and music. Users can drag-and-drop photos and videos from their digital camera into hundreds of professionally designed slideshows, scrapbooks, greetings, postcards and photobooks and personalize with their own words, music and style. They can email their creations, print or post them to a web site or blog.

Smilebox offers you the option to save your video to a separate file after you have created it.

This feature is available only to Club Smilebox subscribers.

The first step is to access the Smilebox DVD Maker, select your project (creation) from your "My Creations". Then choose the Share, Print, or DVD option, and select the DVD option.



Follow the steps (and tutorial) to make your DVD, this is relatively easy and explained in the tutorial on Smilebox.

The last step of the Smilebox DVD Maker process allows you to save your video file. You will not need to burn a DVD to do this. You should click the button that says "Save the Video".

The file will be saved in the following locations:
Vista: \videos\My Smilebox Videos
XP: Documents and Settings\\My Documents\My Videos\My Smilebox Videos
MAC: - Movies - My Smilebox Videos

Windows users will save a .avi file. Mac users will save a .mov file.

You can now upload your file to YouTube or any other video sharing website that you choose.
