The hot dogs are all eaten and the fire is still crackling. It's the perfect time to make some delicious s'mores. To complete this How-To you will need: Marshmallows Chocolate bars Graham crackers A wooden stick or metal roasting fork A campfire Strawberries A microwave Step 1: Prepare the crackers Prepare your graham crackers by breaking a long one into two equal squares and placing them side-by-side. Step 2: Place the chocolate on a cracker Then take a piece of chocolate and lay it on one of the squares of graham cracker. Place that on a plate and leave it in on a rock or another convenient place near the fire. Step 3: Toast your marshmallow Toast your marshmallow by placing a large marshmallow on the end of a long wooden stick or a metal roasting fork. Hold the marshmallow over the red embers of the fire. Turn the stick until the outside of the marshmallow is golden brown and just starting to get mushy. Tip: S'mores can also be made in the microwave. They aren't as good, but it's much faster and you don't need a fire. Step 4: Sandwich the marshmallow between the crackers Take your toasted marshmallow—still on the stick—and lay it on the side of the cracker with the chocolate. Now take the other half of the cracker and cover the hot marshmallow, pressing down firmly enough to pull out the stick. Step 5: Let the hot marshmallow sit for 30 seconds Let the hot marshmallow sit for about 30 seconds, long enough to melt the chocolate and cool off a bit. Tip: For a classy variation, add a strawberry to the marshmallow when toasting and then follow the same steps as before. Name it something French-sounding, like "S'mores à la fraise." Step 6: Squish and eat Now squish the s'more between your fingers and eat it. Make sure to lick the goo that slides out the sides. Thanks for watching How To Make S'Mores! Microwave Perfect S'mores In 30 Seconds!

Microwave 2 perfect S'mores in 30 seconds! This cool little gadget allows you to mircorwave 2 perfect S'mores in 30 seconds. It allows the graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows to heat evenly at the same time. All you have to do is add water.

Chocolate Ice Cream S'mores!

Ingredients:
9 graham crackers broken crosswise in half (18 squares total)
1 cut hot fudge microwavable sundae topping, divided
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 pt. (2 cups) chocolate ice cream, softened

Directions:
Place 9 graham squares evenly on bottom of a foil lined 9-inch square pan.

Cover with 1/2 cup of the fudge topping. Spread topping evenly over graham squares.

Sprinkle evenly with marshmallows.

Cover with layers of ice cream and remaining 1/2 cup fudge topping.

Top with remaining 9 graham squares to form sandwiches.

Cover and freeze for 2 hours or overnight.

Let the S'mores stand at room temp for 10 min. before cutting into squares and serving.

Leftover S'mores can be stored in freezer.

Makes 9 servings.

Dress up your S'mores by drizzling melted chocolate over the marshmallow and chocolate bar.

How to make Cookie S'mores

Use chocolate chip cookies instead of graham crackers.
Use cookie dough for filling in place of the chocolate that you would use in a traditional S'mores.

Stawberry, banana, blueberry and raspberry!

Directions:

1. Roast marshmallow until melted inside.
2. Spread Graham with filling and top with marshmallow.
3. Top with fruit and second graham square.
Serve warm.

I haven't had these in ages. When I was a kid we had a gas stove. For special treats we could make S'mores using the stove as the campfire. Tasted just as good if not better.
