Meet Snoopy And The Gang
Snoopy is one of my favorite cartoon characters, originally in the Peanuts comic strip he has become one of the most known comic strip characters in the world.
Created by Charles M. Shultz he first made his appearance in the comic strip on October 4, 1950.
My main memory of him is watching Charlie Brown on television. I grew up watching Snoopy and all the gang and would get all excited when a Charlie Brown special was on.
So join me as I check out Snoopy and the gang.

- Your lens is really fun. I grew up with Snoopy and as an adult, have been able to share it with my kids. I even went to school with the girl who was the original voice of Lucy.

- I think I just figured out why Linus needs his security blanket. It's related to Lucy being his sister! Hmmm, psychology books could be written about it, maybe a movie. I remember a short strip that featured Snoopy back in the 70's that I've always wondered about. Snoopy was walking down a sidewalk, met another dog and suddenly spun around to look at the other dog walk away. Snoopy's thought bubble was, "How did he know the secret Daisy Hill Puppy Farm Handshake?". Funny, the things that stick with us. Thanks for sweet memories, nicely done!

- What fun--saw your new face over at Tipi's (sisters) and Squidooed over on your tail. I only had tie to look at one lens right now and was heading to one of your Biblical ones but then saw this and took a side trip here. My favorite forever strip is Charlie Brown laying in bed and thinks, "Tommorow I'm going to tell the little red headed girl Iove her". He rolls over and apparently realizing this was a bust, he thinks, "And then I'll go bungy jumping from the moon." I've actually thought of that and smiled over the last 30 years--it's an old one.
This was a sweet refreshment thanks. Oh, I'm not a member, just a visitor in the Squidoo wonderland.
