December Activities in Orlando, Florida with Snow
It's hard to imagine snow in Orlando, Florida. Florida, the land of palm trees, warm winters and alligators.
You won't find real snow, but when Christmas draws near, Central Florida offers numerous activities for anyone dreaming of a white Christmas. Apparently many snowbirds miss that white Christmas back home or perhaps locals think the vacationers crave some faux snow. It's a wonderful time to visit the theme parks. You get snow falling nightly at Disney and also in surrounding communities. Some schedule it as a special event, while Celebration has snow every night for your delight.
Here's where to find the ice and snow around Orlando in December.

This is well worth going to. We visit it every year to enjoy the lights, music and snow even when it's 70 degrees outside.

These make a small amount of snow for interior decoration. For a large amount of snow for outside, you'll need a snow machine.
Make Your Own Fake Snow
If you can't get to Orlando for some of these fabulous December events, you can make your own snow for a party or just to surprise the family at Christmas. Get one of these snow machines and plug it in. You'll need the supplies to fill it too.

- I had enough of snow when I lived in New York! Now I get my annual fix by going to Disney's Hollywood Studio's in December, when foam passes for snow and blows off rooftops as I listen to Christmas songs and watch thousands of lights dance to the music.
