Three Laws of Snowboarding
Freestyle Snowboarding Tricks
Author: Matt BelairThree lessons to change your riding forever. All you need to do to give yourself a Pro Snowboarder mind set. You CANNOT FAIL at becoming absolutely awesome at snowboarding. Apply these three secrets for one season of snowboarding and I guarantee you will double your riding ability.
The 3 Laws of snowboarding:
1. Most important is to believe in yourself. Believe in your snowboarding ability and you will improve instantly. But Rule number one is double sided because you need to believe and practice. The more time u practice snowboarding the better you'll get DUH!
2. Train your mind. You must visualize every day before during and maybe even after snowboarding. Honestly I guarantee if you begin visualizing yourself doing the tricks before you try them you'll probably email me and thank me. Simply pretend 2 things before you try a trick.
a) pretend a video camera saw you do a trick and you can SEE yourself doing the trick perfectly.
b) then visualize yourself as if your doing the trick and FEEL what it's like to do the trick perfectly.
Try those 2 things and if it doesn't help than Darn it you can come to whistler give me a wedgie and call me Nancy. Haha seriously it helps you'll see use it!
3. Train your body. If you want to perform hard tricks it's going to help to have a flexible and fit body. Being strong flexible and healthy just makes it easier don't you think? Obviously if you show serious dedication to training such as stretching consistently and practicing dryland spins and maneuvers your going to start to TRAIN YOUR BODY to do the tricks you want.
That's it that all you have to do to get awesome at snowboarding. Simple ???
YES.
EASY??? No. Lazy asses never get good at snowboarding. For all those who take this advice I Look forward to riding with you in the Whistler Pro Park, maybe take a year or two but I know I'll see ya. Best of Luck.
