Snowboarding is fun!
Did you know that snowboarding was the fastest growing sport of the 90's ?
It seems everyone is giving snowboarding it a go now. Originally the domain of the young surf dude type looking for something to do in the winter, but now the rest of the world has joined the revolution and there's a need for snowboard tuition because let's face it, sliding down a hill on a piece of wood with no breaks can be 'interesting' if you don't know the basics.

Beginner or Expert?
Whether your a beginner or an expert there's never a time when you know absolutely everything, there's always a new trick, a new way of looking at something, or for beginners a new way to try to stay upright and not get a whiplash injury - snowboard tuitiion is the answer. Learn the Basics first
Snowboarding isn't rocket science but you need to spend some time on the basics before you can start jumping around like the pros. It doesn't however take as long as you think to get to a standard where you can learn some tricks and join the big boys in the snowparks.
Easier than skiing
It's much easier I think to learn to snowboard than it is to learn skiing. After a single week's snowboard tuition the average beginner snowboarder is going down slopes that the average skier wouldn't even think of attempting. Snowboard tuition is quicker, and it generally takes just a few days before it just somehow clicks and becomes almost natural. There's also lots less to think about as you only have one board to contend with and not poles and skis which want to go different directions.
Snowboarding is cool
Snowboarding of course is also 'cool' and if you have the right snowboarding gear you will at least look cool whilst stationary. After some snowboard tuition you will also look cool moving down the slopes too, but one step at a time my friend! I'm worried I'll get hurt
In case you didn't know, there's lots of information to give you a headstart in your snowboard tuition and you can do this before you get on the slopes to get your snowboard brain in gear.Personally I would recommend not going on a dry plastic slope as a complete beginner because it's much easier to get hurt and disillusioned there than on the soft snow and it might put you off. Also you don't have the spectacular views and the fantastic apres ski which all combines to make a wonderful holiday.
