    If you want to shred the park a shorter, more flexible board will certainly suit you.

    Heading out for a huge pow day? The more surface area (ie.. bigger board) you've got the easier you'll stay afloat.

Of all of the equipment you'll be using on your snowboarding trip your boots are by far the most important. Nothing is worse than being out on the hill for a few hours and having achy feet because your footwear don't fit right.

I simply can NOT stress this enough: try on boots until you find a pair you are comfortable spending all day in-- it can either make or break your trip.

Snowboard Jackets

This should probably go without saying... but I'm going to mention it anyways; don't skimp on your jacket! The last thing you want is to be cold or wet while you're trying to enjoy a nice day out on the hill.

If you want to have a nice, enjoyable time on the hill I highly recommend a nice jacket. This of course depends highly on the weather conditions.

Do your research, check the weather before you head out and it will make your trip that much better.
