What attracted me to Aquaponics one might say? I am an Electrical Engineer by trade. I have always wanted to own my own business, and in some way start my own business irrespective of what it was, provided it was legal, ethical and moral.
The idea of Aquaponics came to me when I took a two week business trip to Trinidad and Tobago to help in the Start-up of an Oil & Gas Refinery doing loop checks. Needless to say that that project did not go to well due to poor engineering design and management.
Fortunately for me, I had friends that I worked with years ago that lived in Trinidad come and visit me at the hotel I was staying. The topics of hydroponics, aquaculture and aquaponics came up and thus began my venture into aquaponics.
In future posts, I will be talking about and sharing news about the hydroponics, aquaculture and aquaponics industry.
