In soccer coaching drills, one cannot believe how a coach can ignore the passing drills. Passing is an integral part of soccer and without mastering this skill; your team can hardly expect to win matches. In youth soccer drills, include a variety of sports and events in order to hone the player's talent of passing the ball.

Coach them on primary skills: Start with the basics first. Divide the team into two parts and give each of them a ball. They should then pass and maneuver the ball amongst themselves.

The idea is to identify each player's strengths and weaknesses. Also, you will be able to judge the level of passing that each player possesses. You are then in a position to evaluate each player's growth.

The Moving Circle: Variety of events can be of use in teaching ball passing to players. In one soccer coaching drill, all members of the team make a circle with two of them inside the circle.

The ball is thrown between circled team members and two players in the center will try to catch it. Once the ball is captured by either of the two players, he is replaced by any member creating the circle and so on. Soccer practice drills like these provide the opportunity to players to learn and develop in an enjoyable manner.

The Three Soccer Balls: The kids get to learn a variety of interesting things by doing this exercise. Once again, break the team up into two teams. 3 balls are used in this game and the winning team is one that manages to get 2 or all 3 balls when the coach indicates them to do so.

The fight for the balls continues till the coach says Stop. This game will offer greatest benefits when you do this activity again and again. The highlight of this game is that it requires just 3 balls therefore allowing both teams to get the most from the activity. You can instantly know which team has better passing skills and accordingly focus on the weak group.

Several other tricks are leant in this game in addition to passing the ball. One example is the ability to stay responsive in the field and take a calculated decision in marking the correct position to seize the ball. Learning the skill of keeping the ball in control when dribbling or passing it also the result of it. To finish, players become dependable decision makers in field in real matches.
