Social Anxiety Disorder Help: Get It Here...

Welcome to the Social Anxiety Disorder Help information resource.

My goal here is to inform and empower you to create a life free of the chains of social anxiety disorder...

Because I know it can be done.

And I know you can do it too.

Anyone who suffers from a social anxiety disorder knows that it can be extremely intense, and even debilitating in certain situations.

The fear of being "on stage" or judged at all times can feel inescapable.

And if someone ever asked you to stand up and make a wedding speech...

Well, let's not even go there.

But, fear not...

With a little bit of learning from one of the below anxiety books, a hint of commitment and some practice, you can break the chains of social anxiety disorder and regain the life you deserve.

Read on to learn more...

Social Anxiety Disorder vs. "Just Shy"

Social Anxiety Disorder HelpIf you have social anxiety disorder, most people probably think you're introspective, anti-social, or "just shy"...

In fact, it's much more than that. The truth is, you WANT to be able to interact with others - but you're overwhelmed by FEAR.

Imagine for a moment that you didn't have social anxiety...

How would your life be?

Would you be comfortable going to parties?

Confident looking people in the eyes when you met them?

Easy going around strangers?

Or able to handle any social situation in a calm, cool, collected way?

The truth is...

That can be YOUR REALITY if you're willing to do a little bit of learning, and put to practice what you learn.

Social Anxiety Disorder Help: Practice...

Social Anxiety Disorder HelpLet's try a brief exercise.

Grab a pen...Right now...

Don't worry - this will be quick...

Now...follow along with me as I go through these 3 steps.

Step 1 - Imagine yourself in a social situation where you would normally be overcome with anxiety.

For me, it's right before a minor presentation at work.

How do you feel? Write it down.

I feel a huge lump in my stomach my body is starting to tingle - and I'm picturing myself going completely blank and not knowing what to say in front of all my peers. I just know I'll look like a fool, and people will think I'm stupid...they might even laugh at me. This feels like a bad nightmare - I couldn't possibly go up there...

Step 2 - Evaluate your observations. How likely is it that what you imagined will actually happen?

In most cases, the answer will be NOT LIKELY. In my case, there's no real danger in the situation. If I start to forget, I can just take a deep breath, regroup and refer to my notes. No big deal. Nobody will think I'm stupid. I'm only human - sometimes humans make mistakes, sometimes people forget. The chances of me standing up and getting laughed at are likely ZERO.

Step 3 - Push through it - no matter how scared you are.

After evaluating Step 2, I realize that I'll probably be OK. But the only way I'll find out is if I stand up and give it a shot, no matter how scared I am. Funny thing is, once I got up there, it wasn't really so bad after all! Even though I stumbled a few times, it wasn't NEARLY as scary as I had pictured in Step 1. The crowd was generally interested and supportive, even!

Can you see how this short exercise might help? It shows us how important it is to understand that with social anxiety disorder, most of the time our fears are not in line with reality...

And once we realize that, we can regain confidence in ourselves.

This is just part of the puzzle...

Now, on to the next step.

Social Anxiety Disorder Help: Get A Coach...

Social Anxiety Disorder HelpJust like anything else in life, it's always worth learning from someone who "knows the ropes"...

That means getting support from someone who REALLY UNDERSTANDS what they're talking about.

Someone who has "walked the walk", so to speak.

Don't get me wrong - that doesn't mean you have to pay a small fortune to enlist a psychologist to help you.

Because there's another option...

May I introduce? A man who would be happy to be your coach...

His name is Dr. Todd Snyder.

And he is a guy who truly "walks the walk".

He's been where you are, and now he's a trusted expert in helping people overcome their social anxiety.

His website, "Social Anxiety Secrets", is a place where you can get all the tools and information you need to overcome your social anxiety problem, starting today.

I could go on forever about the benefits of having a coach...

But I'd rather you go check out Dr. Snyder's site and see for yourself.
