As I launch this brand new website from domain name registration and up I'll share with you what works and what doesn't. So check back frequently and see what else I have to share with the Squidoo Lensmaster community.

I have nothing for sale here I just want to share my results and help other webmasters. I will share with you all the tools and methods I use at the end of my experiment. I will be relying upon social media and "Web 2.0" type websites and doing social networking, social bookmarking, video posting and more to start this new site off with a Bang! These are all designed to have both short term and long term results and would be suitable for any kind of website or lens.

So far I've gotten amazing results with social networking sites. I've found myspace is a great way to promote my YouTube videos while facebook is good for establishing 1on1 communication and setting myself to be looked at as an authority in my market. Social content sites like Squidoo have also been an excellent source for getting my message out there and showing people what I can do. Video sites have also been a great tool in that you can publish a video promoting your own site and then get those video pages ranking really well in the search engines.

I've already established several top 10 search listings for both my new website and my various social profiles and video pages. I think this is really going to pay off in the long term for this site and allow it to rank for some major "short tail" keywords.

As I mentioned, I'll be sharing my full results with all the methods and tools I used when the experiment is all over. So stay tuned!
