About Social Networks
Among the most popular sites on the internet are social networks. The current leader in terms of traffic is myspace, despite being horrific in terms of user friendliness and technical quality.
Each major site has it's niche and followers. Some sites are more age oriented while others claim an specialty like business networking.
Why use social networks? There are about as many reasons as there are sites. Some people visit for interaction. Others seek entertainment. Some visit in search of romance or friendship. Many people now use social networks to promote a business or organization, meet contacts or find work or services. Other use the resources to seek knowledge or push a social issue.
