Solar Bird Baths - Attracting Birds Has Never Been This Easy

I love bird watching. It's becoming a growing recreational activity in the area where I live. If you also love birds and want to attract the different species of birds to your house, you'd want to consider a bird bath, my personal preference, a Solar Bird Bath.

You'll love your solar powered bird baths as it will add vibrancy and a focal point to your patio or your garden. Your birds will love your solar bird bath too as the moving water attracts the birds towards the bath as their eyesights can detect the ripples from the water from a long distance.

One thing I learned about animals, especially birds, is that they have a tendency to act in interesting ways that sometimes seem to mimic human behavior. This means that they call to each other to come and have some great food, or to be aware of danger, they will even invite other birds to come and take a nice cleansing bath.

You can then keep watch as lots of different birds come to your solar bird bath. You can be sure of having an endless stream of feathered visitors to your garden as soon as you install your bird bath. Who knows, you may even be surprised to see some uncommon bird varieties.

So, whether you are an experienced bird watcher or just a novice you can gain a lot of enjoyment with your bird watching hobby by having a solar bird bath in your garden. It's very therapeutic and highly recommended.

How Does A Solar Bird Bath Work?

Lure Them To Your Garden

A solar bird bath works like other regular bird baths except that it uses solar energy to pump the water stored in the reservoir located in the base from being stagnant. This solar powered panel is located inside the bird bath bowl.

What about at night? Well, it works at night too. During the day, the solar panel would collect the energy from the sun, which is enough to provide energy for the water to be circulated non-stop day and night. Imagine how much money can you save with this.

The 3 Benefits of A Solar Bird Bath

Solar bird baths are slightly more expensive than your normal bird baths, but find out why they are so worth it.

- Easy installation as you won't need to do any wiring or plumbing. Just install it and you're good to go.
- The size can fit anywhere in your home, or yard, or patio, anywhere, as long as you put it on a flat sturdy surface.
- No electricity is needed to operate it and therefore no electricity bills.

How To Maintain Your Solar Bird Bath

Read only if you're serious about this

When it comes to maintaining something, many people usually take the easy way out. That is, by not maintaining it at all. If you really are serious about this, maintaining your solar bird bath is very important so that you'll be able to enjoy it for a long time to come.

To make sure that your solar bird bath lasts long, a little maintenance check from time to time is needed.

- Regular cleaning of the bowl is required if you want to keep the water clean. As we know, water can also be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. By cleaning the water regularly, you're not only making sure that the birds are healthy, you're also making sure that you're also healthy. By using natural enzyme treatments, the water is prevented by that grime from forming in the bowl of your solar bird bath.

- A solar bird bath can be damaged by cold weathers, therefore, it is your duty to make sure that you replace it with a non-solar insert when winter comes. Don't worry, the process is easy and quick. You should read the instruction that comes with your purchase.

That's it! Have you read anything difficult so far? I don't think so. If you want to keep your solar bird bath functioning for a long time, you should make sure that you do the above regularly. It's that important.

Imagine These Birds Flocking Your Solar Bird Bath

If you think that the birds would fly down to your solar bird bath with a towel and scrub brush to have some bath time, then I'm not recommending a solar bird bath for you. LOL

Hey! I live in Australia too and I wondered why the birds don't come very often to my bird bath. From what you say it is because they don't see water movement. Or maybe they skip the little bird bath and just use our swimming pool! I have seen them do that often. Thanks for the lens!
