Solar Power Information: THE NEW WORLD POWER
The very essence of technology is to improve upon currently existing methods of production and of achieving particular tasks in a more effective and efficient manner.
Most of our industry relies heavily upon fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas in order to fuel them properly but these fossil fuels are finite resources meaning that once they are consumed, they are gone for good.
There is only a limited supply of such resources and as if this was not problematic enough, there is also the rather large issue that they produce copious amounts of so called "greenhouse gases."
Dirty, polluting and extremely damaging both to our good health as well as to that of the environment, fossil fuels are slowly but surely being eased out in favour of solar powered technology. Solar power efficiency significantly outmatches fossil fuel efficiency.
"This lens is an overview of the inherent solar power advantages, the provision of solar power information, and a greater consideration as well as critical analysis of solar power technology, especially in comparison to traditional energy fuel sources such as fossil fuels. By providing more thorough solar power information, perhaps more people will make use of this remarkable new technology"

Unlimited Energy
Solar Power information: Everything you need to know about solar power.
...everything
Solar power technology involves the harnessing of the energy provided by the sun, so that it can then be converted into other, more directly useful types of energy for usage and consumption. One of the singularly most powerful solar power advantages (and one that has managed to unite environmentalists, capitalists, and economists together!) is that it is infinite. The sun will never leave us, and when it does, the issue of needing energy becomes a moot point because planet Earth will die.
Cold comfort isn't it? The solar power benefits are listed as follows.
Because solar power technology relies upon the suns natural rays there is no need to worry pollution emissions or damage to health, and current research has indicated that the current energy demand levels could be satisfied several times over. The implications of this are as awe-inspiring as they are noble, in effect, monopolies enjoyed by unscrupulous companies can come to an end and allow for countries which suffer from impoverished infrastructure to be able to provide for themselves.
Solar power benefits all of mankind and as a result should go a very long way to bridging the income and economic gap between the developed and developing worlds. Economic, social, political, solar power advantages are by no means a "one trick pony".
Whenever people talk about solar power there is always the automatic tendency to associate it with industry and on a more globalized scale, and so as a result people assume that solar power is only available in an industrial context. Certainly, a great deal of solar power information is focused on the global aspect, and the political ramifications of its implementation. Nothing could be further from the truth as there are a number of appliances which are solar powered, and one of the most surprising of these is solar powered lamp lights!
Solar powered lamp lights are always products that leave the consumer a tad bewildered before purchase, in some cases, the consumer is left wondering whether this is a hoax, fraud or a very elaborate practical joke. Rest assured, such products are entirely legitimate, as well as extremely efficient.Solar powered lamp lights operate in precisely the same manner as plants do, although they rely on mechanical as opposed to organic means to achieve the same result. Plants effectively collect and store the energy provided by the sun in a process called photosynthesis, which they then use to feed them. The plant will store as much energy as it can during the day so as to ensure that it has a sufficient food supply during the night when the sun is not available.
The solar powered lamps collect energy from the sun during the day, in effect using the energy provided by the sun in order to charge and recharge their batteries during the evening, when the sun is not present, and the lamp is actually required. Simple, elegant and ingenious. This same technological process is used in relation to solar powered calculators which has helped to significantly improve their effectiveness and longevity.
Whereas before the batteries used in relation to calculators suffered from extremely limited life spans and were thus as a result, expensive, the use of solar energy in this way has helped to reduce the costs. Costs for the manufacturers and retailers have tumbled, meaning that these significant savings can then be fairly passed onto the end users of the product, the consumer. Solar power benefits, as can be plainly seen, have a number of significant impacts on all aspects of our life.
...affordable solar power information lamps
Sadly however, current progress of solar power technology has been rather limited and is moving at a much reduced pace. The reason for this is cost, and whilst it is plain to see that the potential long term benefits are very significant indeed, the major stumbling block is that so are the short term costs. The specialised training required to educate workers and personnel as to the creation and maintenance of the solar powered components, the cost of the actual materials themselves as well have meant that solar powered energy has been out priced of the market to be of any universal application.
Thankfully, as more people become accustomed to and won over by the benefits solar power has to offer, as well as able and willing to provide the technical training required, the costs associated with solar powered energy is slowly but surely being driven down further and further. solar power information is becoming steadily more available, especially within poorer countries. As the price then decreases, more consumers will be able and willing to purchase solar powered products, thereby resulting in more steady progress.
For now, the issue is waiting. Regrettably however, the people that would most directly benefit from solar powered technology such as developing countries are currently unable to make use of the technology due to the high prices involved.

Another stumbling block that has retarded progress has been the intermittent nature of solar power. For obvious reasons, solar power is not always available due to the absence of the sun due to day/night cycle, stormy and cloudy weather and the like. Relying solely on solar panel power in this manner is neither possible or desirable and so a great deal of research has been specifically devoted to develop more effective methods of storing the energy so collected in order for it to be used sometime in the future.
Despite the fact that one of the greatest consumers of fossil fuels are automobiles, current solar powered technology is not practical to sustain or power a car, even with storage facilities as outlined earlier, the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy is not of a sufficiently efficient degree to actually sustain a domestic vehicle. As a result, the vast, overwhelming majority of solar paneled cars have been created strictly for solar powered races.
In the UK, the government has been taking positive and proactive steps in an attempt to entice people to install and make use of solar power both at home, and in the workplace and to that effect, it has offered extremely generous grants and tax concessions for people to do so. In Scotland, grants are capped at 30%of the installing costs of the solar powered system, up to a total maximum of £4,000. solar power efficiency will also help with your domestic bills as well.
Please note that this is not an automatic right, and so if you wish to be eligible for the grant, you need to ensure that you actually apply in the manner specified and required by the law. Your application will be reviewed by an independent tribunal who will assess not only whether or not you are indeed eligible, but also whether how much you will receive in the grant. It is safe to say that if you do not ask, you will not receive so make sure you submit your application!

In the Far East, China has also pledged itself to the solar power movement, a move that has been primarily motivated by its over reliance upon fossil fuels in order to support its industrial infrastructure. China has been especially ambitious in its plans, and if its current proposals go ahead, then it will be the current largest gatherer and user of solar power. What impact this will have on the global market is as of yet, uncertain, but given the paranoia that the West has about the East, this "energy race" maybe inevitable.
And that, can only be a good thing.
