Global warming is real... unless we start doing something, it can be prevented. Environmental abuses are among the causes of this.

Of course, the use of alternative clean and renewable energy will significantly help.

Great lens. I'm a tree hugger, nature lover and I try to do my share to lighten my footprint and save the planet and the wildlife. Living in the "Sunshine" state of Florida, I still can't figure out why solar power is the #1 source of energy here. I guess it all goes back the BIG OIL people.

One of the problems I found trying to find solar power solutions for people is that there are no contractors at the coast who put it in. We're not exactly Arizona! And we're not even as sunny as the "valley " around Portland and Salem.

So, it would be good to have extremely "user-friendly" products that don't require a lot of expertise to install. That probably goes for most DIY people and remodelers as well.

I'd like to see data about solar power systems that can be included in new construction of homes.
