Clutter Organization achieved through Simple Solutions

I finally discovered the secret to declutter help...it is time to hire to clear clutter. Home organization is achieved by the implementation of some simple rules and getting rid of clutter needs everyone's participation.

Getting everyone involved is the key to a successful home organization!

Okay the reality of it is that your family will most likely not be overly joyful to hear that you want to implement some basic rules within the household for some declutter help.

Not too many people are really found of rules.

But you know what they say "No Pain no Gain", your homes organization potential is not that much different, you see if you really want declutter help to happen you will have to follow some specific rules. Here are some simple steps to follow that will make organizing your home smooth and even enjoyable.

So let's get this started in this game of Clear the Clutter.

Rule #1: Clutter Control everyone knows that "You touch it, You deal with it!"

This is a type of procrastination and it creates piles for the reason that something is being put off until later, this will lead to clutter hoarding. Yes we could say that we sometimes are a little lazy, but more often than not this is really because we feel we have no time.

Get the clutter under control now!

What you need to know is that this rule, will save you time, although it might not look like it right now since it does imply you doing.

Look at it this way for all the things you put off until later, for when you have more time of course. You are creating clutter hoarding, you are handling it twice, now does that not sound like something that would waste time.

You will need your family member to participate in this so you will most likely need to have a discussion around the possibility of procrastination, meaning yourself or someone you live with are putting things off until later, it is time to clear clutter and make it a family affair.

Creating a Organizing Clutter Habit

Because it might look like you are saving a couple of seconds today by not dealing with the items, when you are really wasting five minutes tomorrow! And accumulating stuff that grow into clutter hoarding.
For example...

Let's create a scenario where you can clearly see how many unnecessary steps are being taken by this illusionary story of "lack of time". You arrive home, as you change into something more comfortable you throw your shirt on the bed because, well you figure you will hang it up or throw it in the laundry basket later. Or you could even, the sneakier ones (lol), shove the shirt on a shelf in the closet with the idea of hanging it later.

Not a good idea let me show you why. Can you see that if you did hang up your shirt in the first place you would not have to do these two steps? It make sense, doesn't it, well you would be surprised by how many people do not practice this simple rule that brings about huge clutter help.

This is how it would look, you touch it, and you deal with it.

- You handle the coffee cup you deal with it by putting it the dishwasher, now, not on the counter and into the dishwasher later.

- You handle the mail coming in the house you deal with it as soon as you come in, not putting it on an ever growing pile.

The Ultimate Clutter Help Tip: Avoid procrastination at all cost and a simple way to determine if you are procrastinating is that if you handle it more than once for no reason at all, well you have your answer.

Rule #2 Organizing Clutter by keeping what belongs together...together"

Let me elaborate let's say you are working on your closet clutter, store your sweaters with sweaters, your shirts with shirts. Let's say you are working with your pantry clutter and one shelf for snacks and a shelf for cans, by organizing clutter you can eventually lighten up the load.

See where I am going with this.

If you do not see the value of doing this have a look around a fancy clothing store. They are designed to help you (the customer) find exactly what you need.

Wouldn't it be nice to find whatever it is you're looking for in a matter of seconds?

Rule #3 Eliminate Clutter ONLY one area at once

The key to successful home organization is about working on eliminating clutter one small area at once and in set increments. This will be must successful if done daily. Do not get overwhelm with the concept of working on this everyday because the truth is that it can only be for fifteen or twenty minutes of eliminating clutter, see how this could quickly add up to a complete home being organized.

Now let me repeat myself DO NOT try and take on too much at once, although you might be feeling excited and jumping right in to this if you are already on a hectic schedule you won't get it done. It is known that an incomplete task is very discouraging and will lead you to just giving up.

Your Reward will be to Eventually Eliminate Clutter

Small projects can give you the boost in motivation you need to "step it up" into bigger projects which will lead to eliminate clutter from your home all together. Something like organizing junk drawer or even your wallet can lead to bigger things if done properly, take the time it needs the key here is really to get it done, one small step at a time.

Do you have any procrastinators in your house, tell us about it!
