Anyone that's been in the Southern US knows they have their own language down there. There's a southern quote or a funny redneck saying for every situation. Most of the time I don't understand them, but I'm so busy laughing, it doesn't really matter.

- I am a real live Southern gal.. and I didn't realize how funny some of these were til I looked at it from a Yankees perspective. Sorta makes us sound like we ain't the brightest crayons in the box, but we are a fun bunch ;) Loved the lens!

- I just love this lens. I was born in Kentucky lived in Alabama for a while and I've heard a lot of these "straight from the horses mouth." One I've found myself using is, "I'm busier than a cat covering 'it' up!" What a fun lens this is to read. Thanks for sharing.

- You had me at "Redneck". We are from the south, but I haven't heard some of these. I can add, "He's as dumb as a box of rocks" and about a million more. "Yonder" is of course, "over there." Did you really look for it? And if you are "fixin' " to do something = you are about to do it. "Lord willin' and the creek don't rise" = it will happen if nothing else happens to prevent it. These are great!

- I really did look for Yonder. I thought it was some huge city because everything was there. I got so frustrated when I couldn't find it on the map! When I finally asked someone, I became the but of every joke for 6 months.
