What it is
Most people have one general question when they first see or hear about Whole Body Vibration machines - What does it do? I like to tell them that this is similar to being a Sonic Cleaner for your Cells. Think about a sonic toothbrush, or a sonic jewelry cleaner. Both of these loosen and clean out the attached residue and "gunk". Theoretically, Whole Body Sonic Vibration does the same thing for your entire body.
It stimulates the cells, which increases circulation, and oxygenation of the blood. This in turn helps your lymphatic drainage system purify and detoxify your body. And this assists your organs, muscles, skin and bones work the way nature intended them when we were born.
Research studies on Whole Body Vibration have shown that regular use can give the body the same workout that it would receive from 60 minutes of jogging plus a 30 minute period of lifting weights. All in a 10 minute session on a Whole Body Vibration machine platform. Work less... Get More.
There is little to no lactic acid build up with Sonic WB Vibration. This means that as you work on the platform there is no residual soreness in the muscles.
One of the sonic machines TheraVibe has multiple preset protocols or regimens for exercise. The exercise regimens were designed by a Chiropractic Doctor, Dr. Edythe Heus, after research with Whole Body and other types of therapeutic vibration technologies. Dr. Heus specializes in injury recovery and strength training for professional athletes and performance artists, like dancers.

One of the sonic machines (TurboSonic) has 7 preset protocols or regimens for exercise. The Auto setting was designed expressly by a Chi Gung (Qi Gong) master in Korea to affect the bodies Chi energy spots, which are similar to Chakras. There are also 3 others which are strengthening, and 3 that are slenderizing. A manual mode which can be set anywhere from 6-45hz (3-50hz in the Professional model) and any velocity or G-force from 0-100% is the 8th mode on this machine.
How it Works
The Earth's Gravitation
The movement of individual organs of human body is always influenced by earth's gravity. Earth gravity works in vertical directions. Therefore it is natural and more effective for the human body to exercise in a vertical direction. Running vertically causes all the body organs such as brain, chest, abdomen and muscles to contract and relax repeatedly.
Up and down vertical movements stimulate the growth plates, improve blood vessel circulation, activate lymph system and help eliminate cellulite. Vertical movements also cause the muscle fibers to contract and relax repeatedly enhancing muscle strength.
Because of the ease of use, Sonic WBV can be used by anyone regardless of age or sex. In particular overweight people who experience difficulty exercising over extended periods of time, office workers with inadequate levels of physical activity, people who cannot find the time to exercise, and patients requiring rehabilitative therapy stand to benefit most from this novel comprehensive exercise system.

Why Sonic
The difference between sonic and mechanical vibration
Sonic vibration is so quiet, it probably wouldn't disturb a sleeping baby. That's great for places like spas which are meant to be a relaxing experience.
The frequency and intensity can be adjusted so even those who are frail can stand or sit on it. Those that are wheelchair bound can use it just by placing their feet on it while seated in their chair and STILL get a benefit.
It has no mechanical gears that can wear out after being used for awhile. Machines last longer because of this.
Best of all, these machines easily gives the user total control over the type and length and intensity of vibration they experience. NO OTHER machine has this flexibility.
Yes you can buy a machine for a couple hundred dollars. But will it perform to your satisfaction? Most likely not.
There is really only one way to truly understand what this machine will do for you and why you should have one.
